We were very pleased with the work completed by Curtis and his staff. With low rafters it was a very challenging job and it was professionally completed. They provided fast, friendly service, highly recommended!!

Curtis refused to pay me after hiring me as a subcontractor without my knowledge. Im not legally qualified to subcontract and he refused to pay me when i couldnt provide an invoice (im a labourer i dont even know how to fill an invoice). He does this regularly and uses this loophole to avoid paying helpers. Please avoid working for him or hiring him as he is a scam artist.

I was very pleased with Strong Insulation Inc. Prior to the work being done, Curtis Strong, the owner came out to have a look at my house. He made some suggestions on what I needed to bring my insulation up to R-60. His estimation of the cost came out to the same as the final invoice even though he did a little extra work. Owner Curtis Strong does not pay his employees what he owes them. He may pay them part of what he owes them, after making them wait around for half of a day at his place on their day off. Definitely do not wait for a cheque in the mail if you move on. This review is coming after knowing various employees who have been taken advantage of, while they were in vulnerable situations, over a variety of years.

Around 0930 on a stat holiday our doorbell rang. A contractor who was preparing to work on the house under construction next door politely asked if we could move the vehicle parked in the way. My elderly parents, who were visiting, had mistakenly parked on the street in front of the house this contractor was preparing to work at. I answered the door and said "no problem" and grabbed their car keys. As I was walking out on the driveway to move their car, the owner of this business who was driving the truck pulling the trailer, approached me and started yelling at me about the vehicle, swearing and lecturing me about "jobsite" parking. I calmly replied that people live here too. He continued to yell at me to which I asked him, which company is he with? He then aggressively got up in my face, and yelled "Strong Insulation! How can I help you!?" I moved the car out of the way, perplexed and shaken by what had just happened. We had lived here for 6.5 years and have never had an altercation like this. All of the contractors and the home builder have been friendly, accommodating and professional. During this build and the build on the other side of us, contractors have parked on our driveway too. Not a big deal and we understand the implications of living in ongoing development. I was very glad it was myself who answered the door to move the car and not my father, who is a veteran and would have been yelled at by this rude and unprofessional business owner on Remembrance Day.
