★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lodge looked recently renovated and they did a great job. Modern and clean. Bathrooms were shared by 2 rooms. The TV and kitchen are in the common area giving it a hostel feel. The host was friendly. The wifi was weak and slow. Download speed was 1.25Mbps and upload was 0.64 Mbps. However it was fast enough for checking email and general surfing. The kitchen had a full size fridge, stove, and microwave. The kitchen was stocked with the basics and there was a BBQ outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Almost a barn like building converted into multiple rooms. Beds were comfy but no AC. The washroom was clean but the shower was small even for me. However the shared kitchen was clean and functional. I'd give it a 4 star for its location. As there isn't much happening around in the town. Very historic. The hostess was very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place to stay in Stewart! We got in much later than planned without a reservation but called the owner who answered immediately and helped us get settled in. The room was excellent, the most comfortable beds we had between Fairbanks, AK and Seattle, WA! There is even a fan in the room for people like me who love to sleep with a fan going. Would highly recommend a stay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a lovely, modern, hostel type of lodging with very comfortable beds, private rooms and shared washrooms. TV room (we couldn't get it to work) and well stocked kitchen. Several refrigerators to store your food. Very lively and fun meeting folks from all over the world. Gorgeous views of hanging glaciers from our bedroom window!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this hotel at all cost. I booked stay months in advance. But when it’s close to our travel date, the property cancelled our booking for no reason. I just got this message from them:
Hi there sorry but i have to cancel your reservation thanks for your understanding.
I contacted the property and i was told that they are fully booked on that day. It doesn’t make any sense as i have booked 6 months in advance. The guy cant say any valid reason. They just simply ruined our family vacation as i can no longer find accommodation in Stewart as it is now very close to our travel date.
What a disappointment!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Martin, the owner was absolutely fantastic. He even gave us 4 bikes to use for the entire stay free of charge. The motel is very clean and well organized. Rooms are spacious, location is prime. Really feel like you’re already in Alaska without even going up to the Yukon. Definitely recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent a night here with a friend recently and loved it. Awesome room set up with a European flair, thoughtfully geared towards those with an outdoors edge. Lots of space to hang your stuff to dry, table and two chairs to prepare food or map stuff out. Large comfy bed, and a couch which easily and quickly folded down similar to a futon. Very clean and sweet home/outdoorsy charm.
