This office is the best...very nice staff and modern office space! I went for cleaning and check-up and my dental hygienist was so relaxed and talk me through the process while providing updates. After my cleaning Dr. Boyko did his detailed review and recommendation which was well received. I would highly recommend dental choice to anyone who needs quality dental care. Also, they truly care about all their patients.

I previously went to the dental choice at the university of Calgary location and I honestly didn’t have a good experience and ended up avoiding dentists altogether. But since I’m graduating I figured I’d use up as much as my insurance coverage before I go. I figured I’d try out this place and I’ve had 2 visits now and both were super good experiences. Heck, today I was so comfortable during my filling that I even fell asleep ? definitely will keep coming here even after my insurance ends :)

I had a great experience at this location! The whole process was incredibly smooth and impressive. I was especially happy with the work of the hygienists, as they cleaned quickly and efficiently. I have a tooth sensitivity, and the dentist made sure that I understood the specific reason behind my symptom rather than simply giving a cure. As a patient, I like knowing the "why" behind my pain, and was happy that he addressed it. I would recommend this location to my friends and family.

I had an amazing experience here today with my wisdom tooth extraction. The staff are all extremely professional and caring and made sure I was comfortable from start to finish. Dr Boyko was incredible: he explained everything very thoroughly, checked how I was doing frequently, got the job done very fast and painlessly, and made me feel at ease. The entire process was very easy. I would HIGHLY recommend this team to anyone looking for professional, experienced, and friendly dental care.

The service in this branch never fails to amaze me. Today I had my teeth cleaned and I thought it was going to be an average cleaning but Mandeep the hygienist greeted me with a cheerful and upbeat welcome and she even remembered the conversational details of my last visit that I couldn’t remember immediately at the time. As she started cleaning my teeth I then remembered that she was the person that made my last visit quite enjoyable and even more so this visit. She would always cater to my pain level and even try to distract my attention to pain by telling me fun stories. And Kaitlyn who was the professional in the front asked about my insurance before even sending anything to my previous insurance showed her attention to detail as I did not have insurance at the time. She then sent me off with a cheerful smile. Again, fantastic job!

I've been going here for the past four years as I'm on the University of Calgary insurance. It seems that the dentists and the staff working here have changed a little bit since I first became a patient so I will review my most recent experience. I had my top two wisdom teeth removed in the office at the beginning of May 2022. I was a bit anxious about the experience because when I had my bottom wisdom teeth removed in 2020, the local anesthetic didn't seem to work very well. Due to this, it took about an hour for me to be effectively numbed (I understand that sometimes this happens with lower wisdom teeth). The dentist I had at that time was a bit frustrated by this and it stressed me out. I mention this previous experience as it provides important context. Anyway, the dentist (Dr. Alex?) and the hygienist I had for my most recent experience were very understanding. It was evident that they had familiarized themselves with my file as they were aware of my previous experience and complications. They were also kind and understanding when I expressed concerns about the effectiveness of the numbing agent and the procedure itself. Overall, getting your wisdom teeth out is the absolute worst, but I had a good surgical duo for my procedure and that made it a bit easier. Another note to add: I often call ahead of my appointments to ask how of the cost much is covered by insurance. Staff at the front desk are kind and have always been willing to help me figure out how much the procedure will cost me out of pocket. This is super important to me because I'm a student and accurate estimates help me avoid extra costs that I can't afford.

This is by far the best dental office I've ever dealt with. I can't tell you how many places I've been where it was more of a sales experience than anything to do with my health. Stephen Ave Dental Choice was different from the get-go. The receptionists, dental assistants and dentists are friendly, knowledgable and welcoming. They are quick and proficient with a no BS approach and are accommodating to patients needs. No one likes to sit in a dentist chair, but at this office it's almost a pleasure...almost.
