The place is always very clean and sanitary, well-lit and organized. I’ve moved around in the last year and have always been skeptical to try new places, Stella is always my go to! I can’t wait for them to re-open and go for my monthly wax ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After having a bad waxing experience at another place, I was very nervous however Kate and Jackie were amazing and thorough with explaining everything and making my experience amazing. I don't live in Thunder Bay anymore but I will only get waxed by these amazing girls on every trip home. The shop was very clean and I observed the girls thoroughly cleaning the rooms in between patients. Best part of going is all of the local products for purchase and try. Truly amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ LOVE LOVE LOVE Stella Wax Bar! Kate and all the girls there do such an amazing job. I love the convenience of the monthly membership and the price point for service is great. The girls are super accommodating for booking and always greet me with a smile. In no time I felt a friendship beyond just being a client. I am an avid waxer with many many years under my belt. These girls are top notch. I hate being waxed at a slow pace, thankfully the girls are quick and precise. One of my favorite things is also treating myself to products after my monthly visit, the sugar scrub is AMAZING!!!Great job ladies, I am looking forward to my monthly visit?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let’s face it: waxing is an intimate and personal thing, and it’s hard to be relaxed. But Kate and her staff made me feel welcome from the moment I came in. They have comfy chairs to wait in and offered me a drink, but I didn’t have to wait long. I went into a very clean, calming room and was given instructions so I knew exactly what to do. They did everything to put me at ease and I felt they were very professional. This wasn’t your typical salon that does nails oh and also can take hair off your body...this was a team of specialists in hair removal and I felt very confident in how they worked. I signed up for the monthly program where you get one service for free on your subscription and the others at a discount, and was always met with the same kindness, professionalism, and expertise. I’m very thankful for this service and the line of products they carry from local vendors! (The coffee facial scrub is decadent!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stella WaxBar exceeds my expectations at every visit. Kate and her team of estheticians are phenomenal. At each visit I am promptly addressed and very well taken care of. They always have incredible products that I am drawn towards every time I step foot in the shop. I am a big fan of their willingness to support other local businesses by carrying local product! They provide wonderful services, customer service and are extremely professional. By far the best place to go in the city!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I havent tried their waxing services yet, but their selection of products are mouthwatering! I went in to browse and came out with a ton of goodies! It was like being a kid in the best candy store! Their cupcake candles, TeaTime Mosaics jewelry, a colourful rainbow of shower gels and creams, bath treats, cuticle oils, feminine care products and more! It is a must visit for those who haven't been! I cant believe I JUST found this wonderful place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to this place 2-3 times and the service was literally excellent. I was supposed to get my services done today. But as soon as I came inside, the receptionist told me that there was a no show appointment under my name back in October and she told me that I’d have to pay for that full service before starting my appointment. I literally had no idea that I even had any appointment. I don’t know if my roommates or friends booked it under my name. I tried to explain her everything, but the receptionist literally did not care. I don’t usually add any negative reviews but this time, I actually felt insulted. If I was one of those persons who wouldn’t wanna come to an appointment or not pay for my services, I wouldn’t have booked services worth $400. I have never received such a poor customer service before. Literally never going back
