★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place with my whole heart. My LGS is in my opinion the best in the city, and trust me, we've been everywhere. The staff are all super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They always have a lot of stock (but just like any MTG shop they might be missing a card or two on your list as to be expected) their selection of singles in laid out beautifully and well organized, they have a lot of selection for packaged products and accessories, and just the experience of shopping there is 10/10. 100% would recommend. *chef's kiss*

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was great! Went to a different store on the way to Star Lotus Games. The first place we went to was very small and staff seemed more "cold" and uninterested in our business. Star City was totally welcoming and has an absolute MASSIVE supply of MTG cards. Staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and upbeat. The precon set that I wanted was in stock and they even helped out with some ideas for extra cards to implement in it. I just started playing Magic again after a couple years so the advice was very helpful. There is plenty of room to go in and play some games against some friends to test some cards out and a group was doing just that when we left. They also have good value for trade ins and Black Friday deals right now which is 15% off all singles! 10 outta 10 would recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've tried to come here twice in the last month and both times I've walked up to a sign on the door saying its closed for the day, No issue with that at all as I know things happen but Google said it was open both times I went, and the voicemail when I call to get any info clearly says something about Checking their google page for their hours, yet again both times I've gone it says "Open" online which is clearly not true. Just wish someone could get on changing online hours when the store is closed so I can stop taking time out of my day to come to a store that is clearly NOT open when it says it is!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been interested in Magic for years and have never actually owned a card or played in person (mostly on Arena or mobile version). I recently bought a couple of cheap packs and realized what I've been missing.
I called and went in to the store today and not only were the guys awesome at explaining everything in terms of what each card pack was about and gave me great pointers as to how to plan around the color of my deck and how to plan for buying and upgrading the deck.
Overall, fantastic experience and I'll be back for sure!!!

Having taken a large break from MTG (15 years), they really helped me understand the current scene and get into the Commander format, helping me with some singles to improve the new decks I was making for myself and my play group.
Also a great source for card supplies/storage. Got lots of sleeves, binders, and storage boxes from them.
My favorite MTG store in Edmonton.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best places to play, buy, and find magic the gathering cards/ accessories in the city. Definitely my favorite place to play magic, great atmosphere, and good fair prices!
Another thing that I like, is that they do not pressure you into buying things you don't need, and actually give good honest advice to customers. From improving your deck/game strategy to buying singles, sealed product and accessories.
