The store itself is good. Customer service not so good. I came in to return an order bought online, the two ladies at the check out were ok but the man who came in to process the refund was not so pleasant. None of them greeted us upon entry, and the only thing the man said was β€œthis side” when he called us over to the till, and asked us to leave the box (printer) on the floor next to the till. He asked if we opened the box and we said no. He then cut the box open and looked inside, then proceeded to kick the box out of the way, into the back. If that’s how staff treats customers and products β€”- doesn’t look good. It would have felt better if they appeared to value their customers and if they treat their product better, by picking up the box and placed it where it belongs. Especially when it’s an electronic which will probably be resold to another customer.

With free parking onsite and plenty of office supplies available, I would recommend this location. I personally had mixed experiences between staff members, so there's some room for them to improve.

This visit started off a bit cynical and underwhelming. At first, they didn't seem to hear me or understand what I was looking for, two cashiers at Customer Service. One of them, when I asked, told me the number of items listed as in stock on their website was "not a proper number". They were supposed to have two. I tried to express my annoyance and ask what she meant and why they would do that, indirectly asking for an explanation as to why. I think her shift had ended but she got a man, Sinan, to help me, and because I didn't want to keep her since I was really complaining (though I said I'd just stopped in to see if they had what I looked up for another location), I made sure she was able to leave. Sinan helped me most humanly and reasonably efficiently and tried to explain a little how inventory works, which was far more helpful, INFORMED, and considerate than that other young woman. Well, instead of making him look something up in inventory, I first tried to see if I was actually interested by getting him to look up another item on their website, which looked to have a hard-ish plastic cover, unlike the somewhat flimsy, fabric-covered cover for the binder I was holding for comparison. Well, to save a little time, I'll say that he did actually find me the $10 instead of that other $7 one, and it had a nice stiff yet flexible cover AND came in purple. It's, like the best binder I've ever held, and it was on clearance! I thanked him emphatically and am so happy with my purchase (plus two packs of Bic Glider Bold pens, which I didn't know were on sale for $3 down from $4.69 until I got to the till, hence the second package) that I asked if he wanted me to mention him in a comment, which he thanked me for. Sinan was human, helpful, informed, and considerate. Staples is lucky to have him. I might add that the young, tall, thin, Indian woman who helped me at first really wasn't, though she was polite. She would have had me give up (she told me they didn't have it!) without an apparently good reason (Sinan found it lying on a shelf!). I'm glad I put up enough resistance to see some luck. I know this may not be everyone's experience, but today it was mine and I like giving five-star reviews (to match the Five Star zipper binder I bought!) when I can do it with a clear conscience and a happy spirit.

Could not find any queen size n king size mattress bag for moving from the Home Depot in Richmond. They were all sold out except for the double size one, which they have a lot. Came to the Staples on Grandview and got the sizes I need. Not only the bags are made in Canada and they are also on sales. The staffs there are very nice and helpful too..??....??

Thank you so much to Nav for helping me look for 8915 pen refills that I could not find in two different stores. She was so patient with me and took her time to make sure my pen works with them. She is a real sweetheart and such helpful young girl. Date:- January 20, 2021. 12.15 pm

Nancy and the amazing team in the print shop have been so incredibly helpful when I was having issues with printing invitations and other printables for my wedding here. When I had issues with colour, staff were quick to offer alternatives and explain how I could fix my original document. While the quality of the print does match the price tag, the staff went above and beyond a number of times.

I’ve bought writing and office supplies from Staples for years. From iPads to pencils to custom order stuff β€” it’s been consistently good. Great selection, competitive pricing, and an excellent return policy. BONUS: Letting the dog join in for the shopping experience. Thank you, Staples! We’ll be back.
