Went into get my Covid passport, laminated; was told it be at least a hour! Then find out they had to shrink it down in size! So while waiting decided to look for a electronic alarm clock! Tried to ask a question while 2 clerks, helping the same customer! They they'd call someone, they could've just told me the Isle; and could've gone look myself! Waited 15mins & still no service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I purchased a nice IKEA looking small computer desk. We were helped by a very nice young staff member. Who I must admit I was joking around a bit with him. Yet he continued to be very professional and exerted a high level of customer service. We were not only happy with the purchase. But were also very impressed with the young sales staff member. Who we feel should get KUDOS for being patient with a couple of seniors. If you are the store manager reading this review. Please note this young man's name was Shay.

Staff is helpful but I think they need more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WASTE OF TIME. MAYBE NANCY NEEDS A DIFFERENT JOB. Quick on and out hoping to print off documents. Nancy was not happy to be at work today I think but I am not judging her. Just not happy and not helpful. I asked how too print off 6 page document. She said 50 cents a copy or 15 cents. I told her I did not have a credit card. She gave me an instruction sheet and told me to go to the photo copier. I had no idea what to do. I sent my file to an email address. Received an email back and then was told by guy next to me I needed a credit card or print card.
I went back to Nancy who really did not want to be at work today and repeated to her I don’t have a credit card. She said I needed a print card. I had alto actually ask her what that was and how I get one. By this time i am done with staples. I went to manager and received a deer on the headlights look and really felt no reason to share as I felt it would not go any further. Sad service. Sad communication. I went to shoppers and bought a Visa gift card for 100.00 and a Epson printer that was on sale. Staples just lost a customer today.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On Feb 3,2022 we went to the photo copy department at Staples in Campbell River. We had a small project that we actually didn't think could be done. We explained what we wanted to a young East Indian clerk who understood what we wanted and two hours later it was completed. Our interaction with him was very enjoyable. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and very polite. He is an employee that should be acknowledged as a great employee.
