M	Min Chen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was shopping for a reasonably priced high quality piano, These Japanese pianos all sound so flat, without any color. It's hard to get dynamics and tone out of these pianos. Even Boston made by Kawai with such high price doesn't sound any better.

I did my research online as well as going into different showrooms to try different pianos, and got recommendations from my wife's musician friends. I finally narrowed my choice. We were greeted by Allan the owner when we walked in, and dealt with him through the whole process. He was very easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and patient - we went back three times before making a decision. He was very upfront about pricing; I appreciated that we didn't have to haggle (and I knew based on my researches beforehand that his prices were very fair). I also felt that he was genuinely passionate about what he does. He went above and beyond explaining the differences between the manufacturers and particular models to help us make the most informed decision possible. This is in stark contrast to some of the other piano showrooms I visited where the salespeople were just going through the motions or ignoring their customers outright. What else... Oh, I LOVE MY NEW GRAND PIANO!!! I've had it for about four months now and I am SO happy with my purchase. The piano movers referred by Allan are awesome too, making my entire experience very pleasant. I strongly recommand anyone who is out there hunting for pianos should definitelly check out this store. I am sure you will be a very happy customer and get what you want based on your personal needs after talking to Allan and you will be very impressed by his super service, knowledge, professional support etc.

He got his delivery guy, Richard, to bring our piano to BC - extra cost but worth every penny because he did a fantastic job moving it into our place! Kawai paid for the first tuning, and everything went according to plan. Love our piano! Definitely recommend Standard to others. Larry & Carla

Since his inventory is large, we had a lot of choices of different pianos. Would definitely recommend for those who are looking for a good quality upright or grand piano.

G	Grace Konnert on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not going to lie - looking at the outside of the building, I was a bit worried. We bought a used Yamaha grand and am so happy with the purchase. Prices are very fair, Albert is very knowledgeable and friendly, and when we had a minor issue just a couple days after having the piano delivered, he rushed over to fix it even though we live outside the city. I hope to never have to buy another piano, but I would confidently recommend Albert and his store to anyone looking to purchase a piano, new or used.
