To any builder and CM firm , highly recoomand DO NOT EVER TRY THEM, it will waste of your time absolutely !!!!!!

The lady who acts like the boss is extremely rude, has no manners, just to book an estimate visit, she started to fight and be very disrespectful . I can only imgaine what she would do once the stairs are ordered abd deposit given to them!!! STAY AWAY NOT WORTH TO EVEN CALL FOR AN ESTIMATE!!

She is rude and uneducated when it comes to dealing with customers and even my contractor could not deal with her. Unfortunatly, she runs the show and is compeletly unaware of what is going on. My threshold was installed to low which is a trip hazard ITS ABOUT 1/4 TOO LOW and Rocia got mad and tried to blame me, hung up on me, yelled at me but the most weirdest thing is she kept sending me rude email after email even after I told her not to bother me. It was stalker behaviour, very strange woman. THEY WOULD NOT FIX THE ISSUE AND THEY WERE PROVIDED THE FLOORING AT THE TIME OF THIS INSTALL. I HAD TO HIRE SOMEONE ELSE TO REINSTALL!
P	Peter Palarchio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Save the time here - Terrible customer service Update to respond to your comment, I attempted to be a customer but your disorganization and inability to keep a commitment to timing of an install led to your 1 star review. It would be Zero if Google would let me. Timing of trades is a very important part of any renovation and build, as your delay moved back my project back many weeks as I had to push back subsequent trades, (Flooring, Millwork, Railing etc) As you can see by your other reviews, this is not an isolated incident and I urge you not to lash out on Google reviews to people that had a bad experience. Instead, learn from them and improve your customer service. Google reviews are a valuable tool that hold businesses responsible for customer service. As you can see from my other reviews I have only used this tool to reward businesses for excellent experiences. However, the experience with your company was so poor that I felt the need to warn others before committing to your services. I hope that explains who I am. I did find another stair company that I have referred other business to many times.

She is rude, doesn't listen and had no custom service skills. Dont waste your time or money here. -your worker was aggressive and was racist to my worker. My worker verbally asked him multiple times to leave him alone. Your worker wouldn't leave him alone. My worker acted out of self defense when your worker moved aggressively towards him. I tried to speak to you about this as two mature adults always saying that both individuals acted in the wrong and you would not listen to anything I had to say. My review about you is about this interaction. You did not handle it like a mature professional. Customers only need to look to other reviews to see I'm not alone on these thought. Take care Rocio
J	John Reznik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered stairs for a new 2 storey house from Stair Star. I dealt with Gustavo Castellano, the owner of the company. A contract was signed for $6800.00, HST included and a cash deposit of $1500.00 was given to Gustavo. On installation day the truck with the stairs arrived and the driver, Tom presented me with an invoice of $8520.00 and informed me that the stairs were not coming off the truck until payment was made in full. My reply was that was not the correct amount And furthermore I was not making payment until stairs were installed and passed by the building inspector which by the way were the arrangements made with Gustavo. The driver then called the office and I spoke to a woman called Rocio, Gustavo's wife and the office manager. She was very rude an arrogant and told me that there would be an additional charge of $500.00 because i cancelled the installation without notice. IMAGINE THAT! My advice to anyone thinking of doing business wit Stair Star. BUYER BEWARE
