I CANNOT recommend David enough. He has been doing my hair (colour and cut) for nearly a decade, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair. From the first complementary consultation, through platinum blonde, silver, pink and back to blonde, I don't think I could have trusted any other human with my hair. He'll be honest about your hair goals, save your tresses and keep you entertained while he does it.

Had my hair cut and ombréd by David, he did such a great job! Fixed my last haircut and I love my new color, I get compliments daily. Felt super comfortable and he did exactly what I wanted, thanks David:)

Angela has been my stylist for several years. Her knowledge in her craft is second to none! Every appointment she dedicates her full attention to her client and assures she is giving you the best services she possibly can. You will always leave her chair happy and completely satisfied.

David has been doing my hair for years now and I have loved every colour hes done for me! Hes always so great- no matter how long it takes, from quick hair cuts to a full 8 hour colour change! I've had colours I never thought I could have in my hair and I've never been disappointed! He and Angela are so welcoming and it's always fun to see Jughead!

I have extremely curly hair so it is a challenge to find a place that I trust to cut my hair. I'm also very particular about my hair dye as I only use Elumen. I walked into the salon and Angela was immediately excited about my hair. I let her cut it and play with the color after I told her what colors I liked. My hair looks AMAZING! Angela was professional and made sure that I got something I liked, but she was also willing to suggest things that would look better. I will continue to see Angela for all my hair needs!

David has done miracles for my hair! I came to see him after a botched job from another local stylist and he has worked his magic to get my hair back to how I want it. He listens and works with you to achieve your hair goals. Unmatched! I am so lucky to have found his services. Visiting the salon is always a fabulous, inviting and comfortable experience. Angela is top-notch, always engaging, and the salon dog-mascot Jughead is a treasure. I cannot say enough good things about Staerk. Do yourself a favour and book with one of these master stylists.

I went grey during Covid, and decide that I would stay grey, but I didn’t want my hair to be boring or lacklustre. I found most stylists either didn’t know how to work with my greys, or insisted I bleach to blond or brown. I just wasn’t happy and I was never having a good hair day, my grey looked muddy and I as I was about to give in and colour again I met Angela. Angela not only gives it to you straight (she told my greys looked sad) but she never tried to talk me out of my vision. She listened and then booked me in for a 5 hour colour, to punch up my greys with a variety of spectacular shades. Angela is an artist. She is confident and brave, and is willing to take the time with me, and only me. She never checked her watch, I got the feel she was as invested in outcome as I was. In this rush-a-day world, it’s a genuine pleasure to have this kind of creative personalized service. Plus I love my cut, super easy to style, even curly looks great. I am back to having great hair days and feeling beautiful while embracing my natural silvers. I think Victoria is lucky to have ready access to this talent. I travel from the lower mainland to see her, and it feels quite worth the effort. By the way, if you are on a budget, or you are price checking, maybe keep shopping. A premium service should garner a premium price and I found value. I also think you must be a bit brave yourself to work with Angela as she is creating, while she works, so perhaps not for everyone. But if you want to have fun with grey, and yet aren’t ready to feel blah, or look like everyone else then I highly recommend her.
