My neurologist sent me here for an MRI of my head and spine. The radiologist at St.Paul’s decided that the head MRI wasn’t necessary and only did my spine. Now I have to go meet my neurologist to get yet another referral for a head MRI to confirm their suspected diagnosis. Which of course will delay my treatment. Two stars because the tech was nice and it wasn’t his fault the doctors orders were changed.

We are ever grateful to all the doctors and the nursing staff of this fantastic hospital. Our son was admitted in a very critical state and thanks to the care and attention he was saved. We found every staff member extremely cooperative and supportive. God bless you all and pray that you continue to help people.

It might be old but it's gold! Last Friday (13th!) my family doctor told me on the phone to go to Emergency at St Paul's, ten minutes away. I was there for 8 hours, 2 CT Scans, ECG, two lots of blood tests. It was a lot of sitting and waiting in between but everybody I encountered there was compassionate, courteous and respectful. Every other patient I observed there was treated the same way. I could not have had better care anywhere in the world than that given by these total professionals. Multiple people jumped on my fairly serious problem and fitted me in early the next day for minor surgery. There are some rough edges. The registration and Triage are a bit of a gong show. 10 or 11 people were waiting in a small space and it was difficult to know who was next. A contract security guard took it upon herself to know who was next to register. The reason it was so crowded there was because it was very hard to hear the name called for Triage, so people had to remain very close A 'take a number' machine and a low level PA would surely solve those problems. I'm sorry this famous hospital is slated for demolition soon. The 60,000 odd residents of the West End will have to go a lot further away for Emergency care.

A ring was stuck on my finger and it looked badly swollen . It was ten at night, I had to see a doctor. St. Paul’s is the closest to my place. There was a throbbing pain and I was worried. The triage nurse I spoke to convinced me that things were not that bad. The doubts stopped creeping in. I was not going to lose my finger! We waited for three hours and I could see why. There were a lot of urgent cases. In spite of that, the staff were buoyant and reassuring . When it was my time, the doctor took less than a minute to assess what needed to be done. He asked me if it was okay to cut the ring. I replied in the affirmative. An extremely cheerful nurse removed it with a ring cutter tool in no time! It was a minor problem but I was thankful to have the ring off my finger. I am also thankful that the staff at the hospital are great listeners and empathetic to the concerns of their patients.

I was at the emergency ward last night for a few hours and was amazed at how competent, kind, and caring the staff were including nurses, technicians, doctors, cleaners, and security personnel. They all showed a genuine desire to help the patients there.I was especially impressed with their listening skills. We are very fortunate to have such professionals in our heath care system. Thank you all very much.

I would give them twenty stars is I could. Under a lot of pressure, drug over doses, the virus and then regular medical emergencies the medical staff, nurses, doctors, porters are all pleasant and reassuring. They care about your emotional health as well as your physical health because you are under stress being in a hospital. We should be praising them not being critical if they find the pressures too much. Thank you for your services, you are a fabulous team.

The staff were amazingly friendly, very cordial and empathetic. I was admitted to the emergency room in critical condition this month. I suspected blood clots in the lung due to a covid infection. I could not breathe or move, and they saved my life after I felt death. The hospital was immaculate, and the medical staff were very kind. Thank you for everything♥️
