D	Dylan Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ QUESTIONS ARE NOT ALLOWED! a nurse(or medical staff) said. Am I a dog or what? There was nobody at reception. my appointment was at midnight and I was in a long and endless line up at emergency. So I walked to the left side desk and asked if I was in a right line for MRI. Yeah, I was scolded. She yelled at me, NO QUESTION! I was not rude, just asked as a patient with a legit appointment. The result? I was LATE for my appointment and refused to take MRI although I had spent 4 months for it! B.C, or whole Canada will fail when it comes to medical system if nothing will be changed. Slow service, understaffed, not-fully-trained staff, lack of medical supplies and hospitals, indifferent attitude towards patients etc,. The stupid system is totally screwed up, what a disaster.
H	HereForYou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Triage nurses know their stuff but don’t give off the most inviting/customer service experience when you first walk in (I know they’re not in the service industry but they are literally the first people you meet when you enter the ER). But once you get in, everyone working in the ER who treat you are absolutely lovely people. Very competent staff. Thank you for your service!
K	Kayhmi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Hospital is the 2nd Hospital I went to other than a Vancouver Hospital that I was just born from. So I can only remember about this Hospital since I wasn't old enough to remember the other one. So then...I always had a scary image about Hospitals in general(due to TV shows) before coming to this, but this Burnaby Hospital gave me a nice image about Hospitals in general now. It wasn't scary at all. Nurses were really kind and helpful. I'm one of those "shameful" adults who still can't swallow pills and the nurse didn't judge me at all(at least not on the outside where I can see their face expression). She told me she could use a pill crusher and asked me if I wanted some Apple sauce with it, that made me feel very comfortable and at ease. :)

It was my 1st time at a hospital and had an appointment for Echo Cardiogram and I was called at perfect timing and was done very quickly. The technician was very nice too. Amazing work.
S	Sue Dalshaug on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ October 2021, I had a cat bite. I had 3 mornings of IV drip with antibiotics as well as oral antibiotics. The Nurses and Dr.'s I had were great. Big shout out to a wonderful Lady , Theresa in Red zone 3. She will get you set up and bring you a pretty bracelet . Thanks Theresa !!!
J	Julie McManus on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Baby’s Best Chance? Burnaby Hospital. We had a fantastic experience during the birth of our baby last week after being diverted from Surrey. There were many nurses attending to us, and friendly, knowledgeable doctors too. We had a lot of space, privacy when wanted, and continuous health checks that were so very reassuring. During the birth everyone was cheering us on. The room was filled with energy, including from 3 student doctors and nurses. The nurses were thorough and demonstrated tons of baby care tips along the way once baby was born. Parking and navigating the hospital was also a breeze. Everyone seemed very on top of things, and energetic at all hours of the night. Meals were tasty too! I appreciated how thorough everyone was.
V	Vimanyu Aggarwal on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rating for the Labor & Delivery! Super awesome experience for labor and delivery. Nurses & Doctors were helpful and nice. Spacious delivery rooms. Although the maternity ward is very old/damp and I found a live silverfish near my new born's bed. I brought it notice to the nurses who killed it. Glad that they are constructing a new building.
N	Nupur P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am rating only the lab where I went for blood tests at week 39 of pregnancy. The female sitting at reception (23 feb at 8:20) of the lab was super rude. I did not take a requisition hard copy with me. She asked me to go back. I asked if there was any option of taking a hospital to which she replied I don't know. Please go ! Another person came from behind and suggested that I can ask doc to fax me in a polite manner. I said ok, and sat in the waiting area to call the doc (I am 39 week pregnant). Suddenly the rude receptionist shouts that you can not sit here till you don't get a requisition. Please go outside !! I am so happy I am not registered at Burnaby hospital for delivery. And would like to believe that she is the only one so rude and rest of the staff is nice and friendly.
