Love St. Albert PCN. I attended a few of the courses and got so much valuable information. If you haven’t been to any, you should definitely check them out. Staff are all very knowledgeable and friendly.

When I walked in to the receptionists desk I said hello and as there were two ladies working at the front they were chatting with each other and did not acknowledge me until her story about her weekend was over. She then continued to check me in and I went and sat down as she went to tell my caregiver that I had arrived. When she came out from the back she started laughing to her coworker and said "(caregivers name) is so funny, I went back there to say good morning and tell her that her patient is here and she started laughing and whining 'I don't want to be here'". All of this spoken very loudly. When my caregiver came out from the back she looked at the receptionist and stomped around laughing pretending to have a little tantrum thinking I didn't know what the joke was. Very immature place and I will not be returning to see this caregiver because of how I felt in her office. I am very very disappointed. Seeing as they work with patients in mental health I would not recommend this environment.

I cannot begin to express my satisfaction with the staff at the St. Albert & Sturgeon Primary Care Network. From the front desk, each and every one of them was courteous, professional, and made my visit as comfortable as they possibly could. Please forward my thanks on to each and every one of the staff there. Thanks!!

I loved my whole experience with the PCN Clinic. First, as a Maternity patient, I loved that I got to meet my 5 potential doctors before giving birth, and I never had to wait longer than 10 minutes to get in to see any of the doctors. Everyone was so helpful and my birth story was uneventful - something I was really appreciative of! Later, when I needed help with Postpartum stress, they were there for me, recognized the signs, and found me the help I needed. Now, I go to them for free programs that have helped me with my health and wellness journey. Overall the PCN is an asset to our community and I'm so glad to have it!

Worst place and worst receptionist of all time. We were referred to them by our family doctor for my wifes appointments. 1st bad receptionist experience: my wife cancelled her followup check up (2nd) appointment a couple of months ago. On the day of the appointment, this rude receptionist called and rudely asking why my wife missed her appointment. She explained but the recep refused to believe her. Not professional and unfriendly in everyway. 2nd incident: while my wife is getting ready to be checked about her weight, my wife left her phone on a chair near the weighing scale and the same receptionist rudely commented "NOW I HAVE TO CLEAN THE CHAIR too" 3rd incident: the next working day after my wife had her fetal echo at royal alex, the same receptionist called to set up another appointment. But thos time, she told my wife that they are not supposed to call her to make an appointment, instead she should be making an appointment by herself. We could have appreciated this but she gave my wife a rude tone. 4th incident: today. My wife is 36 weeks and 4 days. She is in constant pain and she doesnt need to be treated rudely. I went with her to ask if i can accompany her inside. She asked the receptionist if I can accompany her and guess what, the same receptionist told her that "i told you the last conversation that only 1 patient only policy" again in a rude tone and NO she did not mention that the last conversation. She told my wife only during the first appointment. My wife is a REGISTERED NURSE, and at the hospital they are already allowing a designated person to accompany patients. She DOES NOT NEED TO GIVE US THAT TONE BECAUSE SHE DID NOT TOLD HER THAT DURING THE LAST CONVERSATION. My wife is in deep stress and she is really having a hard time during this pregnancy already. She dont need this kind of treatment. Today is the last straw. We have another appointment next week. I will go inside with her and if i hear anymore rude remarks from this single particular receptionist ill probably will loose it. Dont get me wrong, my wife said the nurses and the doctors are very kind and understanding. Only this receptionist and I know you know who you are is the rotten tomato. Dont ruin the good name of this place just because you have no feelings and full of yourself. Again thanks to the nurse and doctors that has been kind to her. And for the receptionist, if you have a bad day or you hate ur work, quit.

Not overly impressed with the care received here. I was referred here as a maternity patient and while some of the doctors are great and obviously care, most don't seem to. As a maternity patient, you never see the same doctor twice so one appointment the doctor tells you if you need time off to rest and recoup, they will give you a note but if you decide to wait one more appointment before it's really necessary to take some time off you may be hooped because some others won't consider it and basically brush off any pregnancy related problem as par for the course. It sucks never getting to build a relationship with one specific doctor and now I regret deciding that I wanted to go to the Sturgeon. While I understand one specific doctor can't guarantee to be at your delivery, it would be nice if your prenatal care was managed by one person. Next time I will ask to be referred anywhere else, even if it means I have to go to a different hoapital.

So the Doctors and the Nurse here are fabulous. I haven't had any issues so far with any of them. Can't say the same for the receptionist. She needs to go, as she apparently isn't doing anything for your reputation. She is rude to the people coming in. She has terrible bed side manners and overall just not a pleasant person to deal with. Your taking care of pregnant women who are already hormonal and agitated as is. And although I can appreciate that everyone has a bad day, my multiple run ins with her distasteful manner has left a sour taste in my mouth. So much that I have questioned coming back. And if I should even consider sturgeon hospital. That being said the dealings I had with the nurses at sturgeon were absaloutely amazing. So they have saved me from those fears. Be weary people if you doctor recommends this place, be prepared to have the receptionist be rude towards you.

My wife and I use the services provided at St. Albert and Sturgeon PCN. All of our experiences to date have been nothing but positive and professional. I speak highly about this place in conversations with others.
