★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place, good fishing, lots of kayakers and beach goers. Always great for the family or by yourself for some quiet time. Bring bug spray, deer flies are a pain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good little spot to let kids play in the water. There is a single boat launch a small one and lots of parking. If youre crazy enough theres a bridge too. I DO NOT RECOMMEND JUMPING FROM IT. People do however.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The area was nice, there is a boat launch that is easy to access. I had a great day in the river. There are just two issues, the 1st being there is no permanent building for washrooms, showers, change rooms. This would go a long way to help families. Also it seems the geese use the area when people aren't around, so I advise be careful where you step. I will say going outdoors anywhere you will find wildlife so it's hard to complain when the weather is hot & the water perfect for swimming. There were also a ton of boats & other water craft on the river. All of them kept well away from the dedicated swimming area. Cheers!!!
