Camped there for 2 nights ( paid for 3 but left early). For $35 I was hoping to have at least a picnic table ( some sites did have tables). The sites were not marked in any way and we had no privacy at all. There were flush toilets and showers but even though they were working sign said "out of order" for showers. People used the showers anyway so the staff closed the whole building and we had to use outhouses. There isn't much of a beach and there is a lot of weeds in the water.

Stayed here when Golden Ears was full. Beautiful view across Harrison Bay with a popular boat launch. Faces east so morning sun is bright! No set campsites so people tend to give each other a bit more space, and it is unlikely to ever be full. Better than Kilby Provincial Park where everyone is so jammed together. Some picnic tables and fire pits. Bottlecaps etc. left from previous campers. Water turned off one morning, bathroom disgusting, although all cleaned up in a couple of hours. Showers do not work. There is a tire swing, and a playground with no shade is a short drive away. Highway and train noise a bit loud. It wouldn't be my first choice for families, but it worked out fine when our first choice was unavailable.

We camped here on the August long weekend 2019. It has the potential to be a great camping spot. BUT the following was so disappointing: The only sites that had picnic tables were the beach view sites so the majority of the campground was out of luck. There are 3 showers for the men and womans bathrooms but the shower doors are gone in the mens (only 1 door) and the woman's were missing 1 door. When I went to take a shower after a hot sunny day around 4pm, the bathroom and showers were revolting with bandaids and hair elastics all over the floor. I'm not a picky person and can understand that the floor might be dirty from mud and frequent use, but this was gross!!! The boat launch looks great, until you are offloading your boat and your vehicle is leaning sideways in the water with water flooding it! Not too mention that its incredibly shallow. Many people were giving up without offloading their boats. There is also no spot that your could call a beach. There is no sand and no where for beach access due to all the reeds blocking the view. Since there was no beach, everyone was swimming right next to the boat launch meaning that kids and dogs were everywhere. It's a recipe for disaster. Also, there were no signs warning of the boat launch drop of. It was such a pretty spot but is lacking in so much. Everything seemed Mickey moused together with minimal maintenance. I wish they would invest a bit more money and have more pride in their gorgeous campground because it could be fabulous

Stayed here with our daughter and grand daughter. We had a very nice stay even if the weather didn't cooperate. Staff are very friendly, it's not the holiday inn accommodations but if that is what you're looking for then stay at a resort. This campground is for the type that can take care of themselves and not have to be pampered. Loved it and definitely will go back.

Great little camp ground. It is what you would expect noise wise being next to a hwy. Friendly staff and well kept bathroom with flushing toilets and free showers. View is the best from a water side spot if you get there early enough to get one. Not all sites have tables and pits is the only down side.

A quaint campground, no frills, washroom facilities, some electrical spots, Sani dump on site, most spots are no power, only a few with power or use your own power source. The water is shallow for several feet. You share the beach area with a few power boats, nice area for floatation devices, paddle boards, canoes, kayaks. There is some wildlife around. We have seen a bobcat, deer, bear .
