About Roseau River Big RV Resort

Welcome to our page! My husband and I are in the process of developing an RV Resort for RVs, trailers, and campers of all sizes. At the current time, the sites we have available are for dry camping only (boon docking). Future plans for the campground involve turning the sites into full hook up with 50 amp service. We are accepting both seasonal and regular campers. So come on down and do some canoeing, kayaking, tubing, fishing or, just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. You just might get to see a noisy deer and her fawn.

At the present there is no running water washroom but there are some porta potties, No showers or laundromat at this time other than what's in your trailer. But there is full hookup water, sewer and electricity so everything in your trailer will be fully functional.. I was told by Mike and Lisa they're going to be installing them and it'll be a lot better for the next season. I'm looking forward to camping there next season.

The owners, Mike and Lisa, have done their research taking all the good things in seasonal sites and eliminating all the things people don't like about seasonal camping. The seasonal sites are tree'd with bushes between trailers. This provides excellent privacy and makes you feel like your actually camping instead of parking in a RV park. Lots are large and can accommodate a large trailer or a small one. With our 2005 Hybrid trailer we would never been allowed in a seasonal campground but Lisa and Mike recognize that as long as the trailer is in good shape, it doesn't matter the year. For example, a 1978 Air Stream that has been fixed up can be more eye appealing than a 2012 pop up with a tarp on top to keep out the rain. The campground is oriented to Family with activities for kids during the summer. Unfortunately, the river didn't cooperate this year for tubing but early on it was so much fun floating down the river and landing right on the shores of the RV Resort. I can hardly wait to see this site develop in the next few years to include an adult pool, and shower house with a community gathering area.

We knew going in that this park was a diamond in the rough, but could see the potential and the dream of the owners. We were not disappointed, this summer has been greatest experience we have had in 13 years of seasonal camping. The owners Mike and Lisa are very outgoing and want to make your experience the best it can be, which they have done for us. We have met many new friends because of the events that were organized by fellow seasonals and the owners. We are sad to be closing up for the season soon, but look forward to to 2022. The owners are very attentive and friendly wanting to make sure everyone is happy. Mike and Lisa have made this a great place to unwind whether it's for a day,weekend or the whole season. The grounds are kept very clean, all sites get a picnic table and fireplace. The kids swimming area is beautiful and enjoyed by all. We will be here for awhile im a thinking.

The owners are amazing and are trying to make the campground as pleasant as possible. There is still so much to be done however the owners work tirelessly and are very accommodating. They are always willing to pitch in and help the seasonals get established. Honestly there is so much to appreciate here, and it will only get better as the campground comes together within the next few years. Truly an amazing place!
J	Jeremy Dueck on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After reading some of the bad reviews on this place I figured as a Seasonal camper who has been here since they started late last fall I would give an honest review as I believe a few of the negative ones are just some disgruntled people who didn’t get their way and expected a bit more than what they were told would be for the first year. This is the first year this place has been open. If you expect everything to be 100 percent complete and in perfect order this isn’t for you yet. They are new and it will be a couple more years yet before it’s all completed. They are continually under construction as any newly started campground would be. The owners are extremely accommodating and definitely do their best to make everyone happy. I’ve met almost all seasonal campers who are there and I have to say every last one of them is great. If you’re gonna come as a seasonal or an overnighter be prepared to meet some amazing people and have a great time but also be prepared to be in a place that is working hard and just starting out. In 2-3 years this place will be top notch and everyone will wish they had a site here. I look forward to many years at Roseau river Big RV Resort and meeting many more new friends here.
