They had just reopened after the flooding
The caretaker Brent was very nice. The arborist had been there and all the damaged trees were removed.
It is a clean well spaced campground with outhouses.you can also buy firewood

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hosts are nice. First come first serve sites, I noticed people putting tents and trailers on sites then not coming back till the weekend when they would finally have people in them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's got water, trees and varmints running around. It's like packing up half your house and bringing it outside to live in the wilderness. The rocks are hard and the water is just as wet as you would expect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This campground is great, the outhouses are kept maintained, it's far enough outside of town and in the woods it makes you feel far away from home but still in driving distance in case you forget to bring anything. Beautifully tucked in the trees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for one night on a March wednesday. Quiet and peaceful, the new host Tammy was friendly and had a vey nice dog. Some sites are more private than others. Firewood for sale at $12/bundle, cash only for everything. Outhouses weren’t pristine, but it’s to be expected. Some noise from the bridge construction nearby, but it wasn’t excessive. Definitely enjoyed the view and sound of the river!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time camping here the weekend of April 8-10, 2022 and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The hosts we're pleasant, the road in was well groomed and because it wasn't too busy, we felt we had a lot of the Campground to explore without interruptions. Definitely will be going back!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great campground, there are plenty of sites for big and small trailers, spots for singles, doubles, and even big groups. There are a few pull through spots as well.
Lots of outhouses that are kept clean, bring your own toilet paper. The river in summer you can walk in, you can find spots that are deep to sit in and cool off.
Great place for kids to explore and play. There is no playground for kids but they do have the forest to explore.
Paved road to the entrance, friendly camp hosts, we camp here with the family a couple times a year because we like it.
If you really need to know you still get cell phone coverage so you can work or update your friends how much fun your having and can show them what there missing out on.
