★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We knew prior to going to Kilby campground they were very strict about their rules. Camping here isn't like camping in forestry or recreation sites, the sites are small and close together, BUT that being said the beach is to die for. We booked this specifically for the kids to have a weekend in the sand and water. Camp hosts run a tight ship but they are very pleasant and friendly. They have wash stations out front of outhouses with nice soap too should you be like me and not be self contained. Will definitely be back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We park one car at Kilby park, drove to Harrison Lake and came down the river in our Kayak. Amazing expedition, it takes about 3-4 hours depending if you are stopping along the way. Beautiful scenery, tons of salmon jumping all around as well as eagles feeding on the shore. It was like doing a mini-safari. A must if you are in the area.

It was a beautiful lost. When I went home from Harrison Lake, I tried via HWY 7 instead Hwy 1. So I met the treasure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here for 3 nights and I loved it! Beautiful view! Campsite is by the water. If you like kayaking or you just want to chill and do some stargazing at night, this place is for you. I went solo and I felt safe. The attendant is very nice. Washroom is clean, no showers though or it would be perfect! Either way, I enjoyed my stay. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a beautiful beach with sand and rocks so bring water shoes just in case! The parking wasn't too bad, there is lots of signs for directions to get there. When I was there it was incredibly windy, and I heard from locals it's like that quite a bit.
There's campsites so you can take your rv and/or tents (I didn't camp here though)
There's one outhouse that I saw that's close to the parking lot and running water to wash your hands.
Overall it's a beautiful spot

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute little store in Kilby with tasty food and very quaint. Soup, sandwich, pie and coffee for around $20.00.
They also have a petting zoo next to the restaurant and were having a special halloween show with spirit readers? Apparently there are a few ghosts in the kitchen that knock things down once in a while, according to the staff?
Will have to come back in summer to sit outside for lunch.

Great fishing if u know how. Swimming good for a river but
Be super careful, it's a river so undertow and current . Don't go out
In current .... Drowning is a real danger. Historic site with kinda museum and coolest old castle
Like logging mill to South .
