Beautiful park within Chilliwack, the Fraser River always something to do, whether it's taking a nature walk, boating fishing and, and picnics, all year round

Love it here! Great to walk and look at rocks along the river, explore nature, and let the dog enjoy the dog park.... Wish during the 'on season' they had a no pay option for those not using the boat launch or other services as I don't think we should have to pay to access the river or a dog park, beyond that, love it

Love this place been coming here every summer with my wife and dad for few years now. It's right along the fraiser river, we come for sturgeon fishing, but the park itself is stunning mountains, water, islands all up the river, dirt road coming in and a small lake on the way to the two main parking lots, there's bathrooms on either sides of the parking lots. And if u have a boat you can go up for a swim where the Harrison river runs into the fraiser bright blue turquoise water running into the brown murky Fraser River really cool to see. Awsome place

This is a wonderful park to spent time alone or with family and friends. Perfect park for a nice long walk or even bike ride. If your kids love to throw rocks into the river, a definite place to go here. They also have a off-leash park available and have seen quite a few dogs enjoying themselves running around. There is no actual playground for the kids but they will sure enjoy the nature. Lots of parking spaces available and a decked area for picnics.

Great place to spend time outdoors and see nature. Reasonably quiet except for the occasional fishing boat.

If you have dogs, it seems to have a great off leash area that's fenced in. There's a place for horseback riding and another for cyclists who like pump tracks, I think they're called, but I'm not sure. What I like best about Island 22 is how lovely it is at this spot, right on the Fraser River. It's a great place to hang out & to get fresh air. There's a walking trail above the river as well that's part of an extended trail. I can't remember the name of the trail, but the part that Island 22 is part of is flat & easy to walk.

I didn’t spend much time here. I stopped here because I was looking for a place to take my dog for a walk. I really liked this place and it seems to be a popular spot. There is a bit of gravel road to get to it. Once there you can find a couple of parking areas; both are gravel and/dirt. The larger of the two is closest to the river and is intended for vehicles towing boats. They can drop the boats off in the water and park close by. Further into the park, there are several structures meant for picnics and events. They seem quite large and popular. In fact, there was a wedding party having photos taken in that specific area with their large limousine parked in the boat-towing parking. There are several trails that lead away from the picnic area in several directions. I took my dog on a trail that goes along the river, away from the picnic area. I was fortunate that the day I was there was sunny and warm but I’m sure the place would be just as enjoyable. I don’t live in Chilliwack but want to go back again and explore the park further.

Loved this park. Didn’t get to explore much as I visited during lunch just to let my dog stretch her legs but what I saw, I liked, very much! There are a couple of wooded areas, I think both require that dogs remain on leash, although I saw several owners with unleashed dogs. We only explored the smaller of the two wooded areas. This one runs alongside the river and offers some nice views. There is a boat launch area with ample parking (all dirt, sand and clay, including the ramp). Beyond the parking area, there is a grassy area with a large, covered gazebo-like structure, offering protection from the elements to anyone using the picnic tables. While there I saw a wedding party taking photos so I imagine it is a popular spot for youth and adults alike. The road leading to Island 22 Regional Park is a combination of Asphalt and hat-packed gravel pockmarked by various sized potholes but it is easily accessible.
