It Started With Our Passion For Creating Smiles and Making Memories…
Before moving to Calgary in 2015, we owned and operated a well-loved sandwich shop and catering company in NW England. So when it came to deciding which direction to go in this new chapter of our lives, we looked back to our fondest memories at The Sandwich Shop. We both agreed that we were happiest and most proud when helping customers successfully pull off their special events; whether it was a wedding, a 1st birthday, a 50th anniversary or an important business meeting, we loved being part of their journey.
With that, we decided to pursue our love for helping people create memorable celebrations, and the idea for Sprog & Sprocket Inc. grew from there. As parents, we know the importance of creating a fun and safe environment for kids and we look forward to introducing our unique play spaces to Calgary. We also know how valuable time is these days and want to provide a service that lets people spend their free hours creating memories, not to-do lists.
Not only does our vision for Sprog & Sprocket utilise our experience and skills from our previous business, it allows us to live our passion of helping people. We feel seriously lucky to be living this opportunity and are looking forward to bringing some of life’s best qualities to your door – smiles, laughter, play and connection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented a ball pit and some other pieces for my 5 year old grandson's birthday a few weeks ago. We ordered it with just a couple of days notice and Sprog and Sprocket was quick to respond, arrived on time with clean and excellent quality equipment. Simon set it up and was in and out within a half hour!
Simon was great to work with and returned our deposit promptly when all was said and done.
The kids loved the ball pit and want us to rent it again!! Thanks Sprog & Sprocket for your excellent service!!

The quality of the equipment is outstanding and the customer service is exceptional, but the most important part is approval from the kids! They absolutely love the ball pit and play equipment and they will stay occupied forever while burning so much energy!! I love supporting this local small business run by Simon and his family, he is lovely and always accommodating to any specific requirements for space, timing, etc. I can feel confident everything is sanitized and safe. We've had the most memorable birthdays! Kids are ecstatic, parents are happy and it's the best $$ you could spend for your event if kids are attending! Thank you Simon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simon was absolutely wonderful to deal with. We originally booked two years ago and had to cancel because of Covid and he still honoured the deposit when we recently looked to rebook. He was upfront and honest about the spacing required in the vehicle that was required for the takeaway foam pieces. Although it didn’t work out for us as our kids are now too old for the foam pieces, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services to friends looking to host a fun party with toddlers!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had such an amazing experience with Sprog and Sprocket, and the kids (ages 2, 4 and 7) LOVED the soft play equipment. Even the big kids were super engaged with this rental! Simon is friendly, flexible and easy to communicate with. The equipment was extremely clean and in excellent condition. I would highly recommend these rentals for special occasions or even just a rainy day! So much fun!

Set up and take down was seamless. The soft blocks, floor panels and balls were all clean and in excellent condition. Overall every part of the rental experience was awesome - we will certainly rent through Sprog & Sproket again!

Simon was very easy to work with, polite and flexible not only with the date change (we had to postpone the party once due to illness) but also with the pick up time. We have nothing but good things to say about Sprog and Sprocket, and how much they contributed to a stress free and fun party!

The set up was quick and very convenient. Everything was clean and the set up was done with a lot of care specially for the younger ones.
We are so glad we decided to go with Sprog and Sprockets for our special day. Recommend it a 100%! Keeps the kids busy and is a safe play space for all age groups.
