Springfield at Leckie - Kelowna

This is the best entrance into the Mission Creek Park . Mainly because there is a perfect watering hole.Where you and your sidekick can cool off hop in and cool off on a little sandy beach. Before or after you guys go explore the vast trails around the park. This is also where we park in the early months of summer When we are able to go up river .Hop in and go for hairball 8km tube ride. It always depends on how much snow we had over winter. Its been so slow u could fall asleep for half hour As you drift down a long lazy river. Then there has been times that it took one or barley sandwiches to build up the courage to hop in my tube. And was very happy I bought along my bike helmet, on more than one occasion.But those are the days that put a smile on my face for three or four days. That I cant wipe off;) Its a BLAST. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY ME AND MY FRIENDS ARE THE ONLY ONES I EVER SEE GOING DOWN . Its probably the best old fashion fun you can have in Kelowna.And it doesnt cost you hundred$. Remember if its just to crazy for you .Wait two weeks and come back. It slows down alot soon as summer kicks off. You can ride it all the way from rutland all the way down past creekside pub .(Pit stop). Ending up in the Lake. Its a SUPER fun long ride if you time it rite.TRUST ME GUYS!!. Where a pair of old runners.
