★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I needed new running shoes. Went in on a weekday morning and not a single employee out of like 7 that I saw walking around helped me. I stood in the shoe section, walked around, went back to the shoe section 2 more times. No one helped me. Grabbed some flip flops and went to check out and the terrible service continued. There was not a price tag on the last pair of 8s so they had to track down a similar product. I stood at cash waiting for several minutes, was offered NO apology or just general friendliness. Was shocked they asked me to fill out a survery about the service there. So I went home and I filled out the survey! No one contacted me about all the feedback I gave on why I will never shop there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called earlier in the a.m. to ask if a certain shoe size for a pair of boots were in stock, checked and got back to me quick! Thank you Zac! (Or Zach*) Also Shalynn(if I remember correct there was a Lynn though) had amazing customer service when exchanging my boots. Very friendly and polite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Downtown location that is convenient. You can check off all your sports needs at this location. The store is well stocked and arranged. It’s clean and well lit and the staff is friendly and helpful. I work downtown so I come here often just to check out the possible sales. Prices are somewhat expensive but there is value there as they carry brand name Merchandise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have looked everywhere for the Burton Riglet for our toddler's snowboard and when we called this store, the person was super nice on the phone and said they will leave it at the front for us so we didn't have to walk all over the store to locate the item with a baby.
When I got to the store, Greg the cashier was super friendly and helpful. I asked him about baby snow boots and he immediately pointed me to the right direction and paged someone over yo help me right away.
Despite I didn't end up getting the boots, the services I received from the staff were amazing and we can't wait to use the attached we purchased here and teach out baby how to snowboard.

Suggest patience with floor staff and possible online pick up purchase also, if you are able to. Double check prices as display may not accurately scan, and management may not be available to assist and you could be delegated. Appreciate there time and really enjoy their product named RollerGuard tm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff couldn't be bothered to help me. After waiting a long while I finally had to ask someone. Several staff walked right by me before I stopped one of them (the product I wanted needed staff to open it for me). She rolled her eyes and was visibly annoyed. I mentioned I could wait while she got someone else- her response: "no, it's fine, I'll "help". All the while sighing and looking at her phone. I understand Covid has made things tough. I tried really hard to be courteous, friendly, and patient, but I wish stores like this would hire staff who were competent and not just annoyed to have to help anyone. I would have likely purchased several items, but she was so visibly annoyed by helping me I left after she got me one size. I went to a store a few blocks away- locally owned small business, and spent a couple hundred there instead. Never going back to Sport Chek again.
