★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dissappointed with lack of empathy from front desk girl and generally unhelpful attitude. While waiting near entrance for her to finish with a customer she yelled over "you'll have to give me a minute here" - clearly I was already doing that. The more polite way to say that is "I'll be with you in just a moment". You need a lesson in true customer service, won't be back and will spread the word.

My husband and I went in yesterday to look at a fitbit watch. We asked the floor staff how long the sale was on for they told us until tomorrow. My husband went in to buy it today (the next day) it should have still been onsale, they would not honour their own sale. The flier even said the sale was on until today. The manager told my husband "To bad go to another store." So he walked out.
I wish I could post the flier but I can't.
Sport check Midland needs to honour their own sales.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I placed an order online for a bike at Midland, location. I checked out and received the order confirmation. A few hours later the order was cancelled. I called the location and asked why the order was cancelled. The manager stated someone else called the store and purchased the bike and was on her way to get it. Terrible customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unbelievably terrible customer service from their hotline.
Tried to use the 10% email coupon on an item that isn’t listed on the exclusion list. But it didn’t work. So I phoned to inquire.
The answer was “well I’m not going to tell you everything that is on the list because there is too much”
I replied “well what is on the list? I don’t want to buy an energy bar.”
“I’m not going to tell you that either. There’s too much to mention”
So I said thank you for nothing. I feel scammed into signing up to a 10% email bribe that you can’t even use. They hung up the phone on me without saying bye.
Worst customer service for such a large company. I’ll spend my money at a local business where I am appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I popped in to look around and noticed they had a washroom so decided to use it. They were all locked but unoccupied. I even tried the wheelchair unit. Had to find a staff member to unlock it for me. When I got inside I found the sink and hand dryer were quite disgusting. The toilets had rings around the waterline so they have not been cleaned in a while.
I found something to try on and went to the change room but no attendant to let me in. It’s in the centre of the store with four openings to different sections so I walked out each side to look for staff. Couldn’t see anyone. There were not many customers in the store. Another person came out of a change room so I was able to get into one finally.
I liked the item I tried on but decided not to purchase it and I left.
