★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there to get skates sharpened. Arrived at the store at 8:30 and said there Machiene was shut down and cleaned for the night. Cleaned? What need to be cleaned on a skate sharpening Machiene?! Anyways, my point is that the store closes at 9:00. Everything should be closed at the time and not before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If i could do no stars i would. Horrible customer service. Had to wait at the shoe section for almost a half hour before anyone even acknowledged me and than says oh you were looking at the tv so i thought someone was already helping you.
Ordered shoes online on a sale. Nowhere in the description did it say double wide but that's what i got so i asked for an exchange and was told i can return them but not exchange them at the sale price. Even though on the description nowhere does it state extra wide. Co-Worker ordered as well and said the same thing . Sport Chek from my experience is not a store i can recommend to anyone .

I also managed to quickly find someone to answer a few a questions for me and she ended up showing me around a bit and explaining the different types of gear that I was looking at. Great service and shipping experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a bike. Servie tech goes over it, supposedly. Doesn't tighten the gooseneck and the first turn under weight, bars turn, bike goes straight. and almost into traffic. Be very aware of inexperienced people doing this job. Will be taking it to a local bike shop for proper setup.

Due to being flat footed, I’ve always had trouble finding shoes that fit me properly. Scott was able to educate me on so many different levels and help me find exactly what I was looking for! Really impressed with his knowledge and so thankful for his help!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got accused of stealing. A lady walked out the store and triggered the alarm. This middle aged man an employee of the store accused me of stealing when I was just sitting on the bench calling me a boy when I am 27 years old. Never felt so disrespected in my life. Never stolen in my life.
EDIT: BEEN OVER A YEAR OWNER/MANAGER STILL HASENT TRIED TO REACH OUT

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible store Manager at this store…I believe her name is Kristin ( my receipt says this) I’m in steinbach for safety reasons and needed to buy some clothes. I mostly picked jackets but needed change room as my body is covered in injuries. I waited forever by the change room. I finally asked the lady by the till to let me in. She looked at me and said “ no” very rude and disrespectful manners. I asked why and she shook her head “ No, I’m not letting you in with high theft item” in front of everyone. Automatically she assumes I will steal… it’s a horrible feeling! When I asked,? Where does on your policy say this and if it’s posted some place? She told me “ because I’m the store manager and I said so” I’m in my 30s and I definitely did not look I need to steal. This could have been handled with respect but she proceeded to scare me with opening her eyes wide very upset , disrespectful… refused to connect me with district manager in any way, and was continuing to sight and role her eyes . I could have bought more but because I was so taken back I bought the jacket. It will be returned and if nobody contacts me after leaving my information with customer service “ I will give details, and I will pursue law suit” I will contact every social media and not for the money spent but humiliation and how scared I walked out of the sports check. Terrible attitude and terrible treatment. So sad to see someone this young be upset with the world.
