Walk-In Clinic at Walmart Steinbach by Jack Nathan Health - Steinbach

First time I gave this place a shot It was for swollen lymph nodes and the doctor brushed me off and told me it's cause I'm a smoker.. later on ended up having surgery to have lymphnodes removed at stienbach hospital after getting a second opinion.. now I gave them a second chance and it got way way worse. Call Friday explain symptoms and get told to wait till Monday, no problem I wait. Call Monday wait 7 hours for a call back. Right when everything's closing they call me and go through a whole questionnaire on my symptoms (didint happen on first call) then rudely and quickly cuts it off says he won't go further till I get covid test... Yet all I was asking him is if I should go to the hospital or not.. this place is good if it's a small cold or you know exactly what you need as they don't care and will just hand out pills to anyone. but if you're in need of real medical advice or aren't sure if ur dealing with an emergency or not you might as well go to a vet over this place.

If I could give a 0 I would! Worst experience with a doctor in my entire life. The ruddest doctor I have ever seen (can't remember how to spell his last name but it begins with a T) And not very bright. He had to look up in a textbook for common medical conditions like a concussion. I wanted to walk out immediately, I am kicking myself for not doing that. Don't bother wasting your time at this clinic. If the other walk in clinics can't see me I'll make the trip to Winnipeg over going to this clinic.

Dr. Barnard is hands down the best Dr I have ever had. Her alone is worth a 5* review. The receptionists have also been incredible. My only concern is with the other Dr's in that office, as I've had not so pleasant experiences with them during Dr B's leave.

Dr. Tai Nguyen is very rude, interrupts whenever you try and speak. Doesn't seem to know medicine very well if at all which is incredibly concerning given his position at the clinic. He couldn't answer a simple question about my sprained ankle. Honestly from what he said, it almost feels as though I know more than him. His worst attribute would be his bedside manner. He rolls his eyes, interrupts and is downright unpleasant. I was in his office for less than 5 minutes, asking him about the progress of my ankle a week and a half after my sprain. He literally said "you tell me" after I asked him if it's healing normally. I didn't say anything in fact I kind of was lost for words. I thought maybe he didn't understand me so I tried my question again and pointed at my ankle asking if the swelling was normal and before I could finish my sentence he interrupted me and then repeated himself by asking me to tell him if it was normal. I got nothing from my visit, I tried to explain to him that I had to update workers compensation at that point he interrupted me again and then told me a bunch of useless information about light duties which I am well aware of and I told him that I'm a truck driver there's no such thing as light duties. I knew going to this walk-in clinic was going to be hit and miss. I've lived in town since 2014 and I've been to this clinic quite a few times with my kids etc always crossing my fingers that I do not get this doctor because he is absolutely the worst. I'm a bigger guy so I'm very much aware of my weight, as I was leaving he very rudely said "you need lose weight" he said it loud enough for the whole clinic to hear, so not only was that humiliating but just so unprofessional. Anyway I have thick skin so I didn't really think much of it but I definitely feel as though that is worth mentioning here.

In short don't go here ! Drive to urgent care...I'm formally going to complain to the medical association and wallmart for having such a horrible clinic in there building. Doctor was rude and won't listen to your concerns...secretary is like a robot....was told to call back for results and all she could say is sorry we are full...not even a care in here voice....told her I was told to call for results 24h after my test and she just kept on saying sorry were full call back tomorrow..... If I end up being even more sick due to this I will resort to legal cause no one should have to be treated like this .... I'm so happy my phone records phone calls...

I have been traumatized by this new Doctor. I was yelled at and allowed to only answer “yes” or “ no” and someone who came to Steinbach because of safety . Someone who found courage to leave unsafe situation I was very very discouraged ( discouraged to ask questions when I have concern) I avoid going to Doctors because the “ new Doctor “ as the receptionist refers to him “ one who is hard to understand” Terrible experience and should not work with patients if he hates his profession. I was happy because I needed a new Doctor here and He was the only one excepting new patients . Very sad

Do not go here. The Dr Tai is very rude, not professional at all. I had a boil /sore above my lip and showed him, and had my mask down so he could see. I then proceeded to talk and didn't lift it back up. He was more concerned for my mask over my nose than anything. So I fixed it and he said over your nose, and i said it is over my nose! More concerned for my mask on my face than what I was there for. Do not go here go to a different walk in clinic. Next time I'm definitely going somewhere else! Don't waste your time here. We were talking and I showed him the boil/sore again and he rudely said "I don't need to see it again, I already saw it"! Seriously just so rude and like I said cares more about the mask than anything.. ?. A old gentleman was next and he said the same thing to him too mask over your nose. Instead of wasting your breath saying it, just treat your patients so they can leave as quickly as possible. Steer clear of this place!

If there was a an option for negative rating, i will it. They really don't care for your health. Indeed, they dont even pretend to care for your health. Staff is irresponsible, doctor never calls you if you book for phone appointments. In person appointments are terrible. Doctor is rude. Does not take time to listen to your concerns. He moved my head very abruptly and forcefully to examine my ears. first time a doctor did this to me, as if i was a chicken ready to get slaughtered. I felt more sick coming out of that terrible clinic than when I was at home. They care for their floor getting wet more than your health. I was told multiple times to remove my shoes to enter the clinic because of my dripping boots in winter. Take off your boots in Canada, during winter season? For real? Please! Don't go there.
