To my surprise a couple days after the install a quality control person came over and made sure we were 100% happy with the railings.The quality control guy was extremely thorough and wouldn't leave even the slightest detail alone. From the concept, to the design, to the finished install they answered the phone every single time I called. Very impressed. Thank-you Kevin and crew. Easiest part of my renovation.

They arrived when they said they were going to and wrapped up earlier than expected. They were clean, safe and experienced in their craft. Through out the day, they were interactive and informative providing education on what they were doing. Great guys to work with! I would use them again and definitely recommend them.

I spoke with Kevin at Spindle Stairs & Railing and he said it would cost $250 service call plus $25 to replace each of broken ones. As he didn't feel it was right to charge that much for a job that would take a few minutes he alternatively offered to provide replacement spindles for no cost if I picked them up and he explained how to get everything fixed myself. I also inquired about putting up a rail in the future that provides more privacy than the existing and he suggested an inexpensive option again that I can do myself. Would definitely recommend this company for stair and railing needs.

I'm very happy they had exactly what I needed to do a small repair job in my home. A friendly receptionist greeted me as I entered the showroom. I showed him photos of my staircase. Kevin noticed that I had some spindles broken. He said he had matching sprinkles in stock and would I like some. In the end he gave me 3 for free. He also explained how I could fix get the spindles out of the railing and repair them myself. He had a lot of good design taste that he shared. For example, he gave a a lot of information about what type post and spindle would go with our house based on the pictures. He was extremely knowledgeable about how staircases were built and different types of wood and shared this information. He explained how I could disassemble my stair case myself. In the end, he gave me a really interesting tour of the shop out back. Overall, I was a really refreshing experience. I greatly appreciated the free flow of information that help me understand what type of railing might work best as well as how I could do some of the work myself. There was no high pressure sales at all.
