★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have hoochy buche kombucha on tap now! Also this place has the most beautiful views and when it's not the nicest day, I like to sit under the umbrella covered tables and take it all in. Genuinely stunning views. Free parking. Tide goes way out at this point in the beach

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Concession on the right place with donats, some food , snacks, icecream and beverages. Wheelchair accessible, washrooms at the back. Hungry anytime seagulls watch out with your food left on the table

Has excellent viewing /seating area adjacent to concession stand & public washrooms/lifeguard house , along with separated cycling -walking -paths & wide open sandy beaches that stretch for kilometres — & quite a lot of wildlife spotting, along with sailing/sailboarding & other activities
It’s another favourite spot of mine to “Zen like Hell” ?? & take in the panoramic views from its wide open (180 degrees uninterrupted) from ocean- mountains & city skyline beyond)
Note: — I’ve uploaded some mid-late October 2019 photos from concession stand seating & nearby beach points (look for photos with Google ID: “smallstudiodesign”).
I generally go to this Beach off season/after hours (early evenings/mornings, mid afternoons of midweek days) - I generally avoid crowded holidays/summer tourist season & weekends.
October to April seems to be a time when it’s ok to take your dog out ont the beach (on leash).but it’s best to confirm with VANCOUVER Parks & Rec website.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been visiting this concession a couple times a week (at least) all summer and I LOVE it. The mac and cheese bites are SO YUMMY, but if you want something equally delicious and a little better value, grab the tempura green beans. The helping is huge! And the chipotle mayo always hits the spot. Hot dogs, burgers, fries, kombucha, and vroom drinks have all been great orders.
Only thing is, it can be a little bit of a wait for your food if it’s busy (10-20min). Worth it tho!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was great and fresh. Ordered the onion rings and a jumbo Hotdog. It is not cheap. Hotdog, onion rings and a pop was near $17.00 but that is average for concession. Only o e person at the stand so service was a bit slow by he did his best to get everyone served quickly. Waited around 17 minutes for my food and the line was around 8 people long with me being the third in line. Sorry no photos but the food looked as I expected it to. It was hot, fresh and as delicious as fried onion rings and a hotdog can get, when not around a campfire.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is what you get for 10 bucks these days. Half of a desiccated chicken tender on a dry bun with some bag lettuce. Beef burger at least has a full patty on it. Bring a bag of jerky from Costco and save yourself the trouble. Stars for service only.
