Not sure what his method of choosing was based on. Maybe your weight, age, good looks ? But it was definitely not who was first in line or had been waiting the longest.

I ignored a couple of instances but it has become a norm now. Young ladies close the kitchen 1 hour before closing, never heard it anywhere, specially drove from Milton and called to pre-order at 5:10 pm and the lady says our kitchen is closed and we can only serve beverages. This has happened twice, not a great experience.

Very subpar. The person was super unfriendly and just not there to serve. The latte was cold. I come here to support my local cafes. Even though I have a few really better options with the big chains. The decorations and art and space is lovely. But the experience was meh. So this morning, I decided to go back to my non local big chains and true enough experienced perfect customer service. Which goes to show that it is possible to serve customers well and we can't blame everything on covid.

Hubby had a chicken on a ciabatta sandwich with an iced americano and I dined on a turkey with brie and cranberry sandwich, chased down with an orange-cranberry juice. We both gave our lunches a thumbs-up! If you visit when Ashley is behind the counter, chatting with her will be the perfect finishing touch to your visit to the Southpaw Cafe!
