★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moved in quite recently, however this property and the people who run it do a phenomenal job.
moving in/signing papers was quick and efficient. The property manager was able to get me a showing in an awesome unit and papers signed within a few short days of each other.
getting a dog approved was also a breeze - the fenced dog run is great for morning business. The dog wash station is also deluxe; Adjustable water temp, blow dryer & steps so you don't have pick up dog up.
The building itself is very well maintained, the hallways and elevators are always spotless which is very nice.
overall, I genuinely do not think you can find a better rental option in Medicine Hat.

The Gym is great, the community centre is also a very nice touch. And the suites are gorgeous if you are looking for a small affordable space I would recommend Broadstreet to anyone ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Mom and I have been living here for almost 3 weeks and we love our new place! The building manager Bonnie was organized, efficient and friendly and our move went flawlessly.
The property is kept immaculate and the ventilation in the building is very good so you don't have that "apartment hallway" smell. The ventilation system inside the apartment is also efficient and the hood vent above the stove vents out of the building which is rare and very much appreciated.
The quality of the finishes in this apartment are the nicest I have yet lived in; hallways and doorways are wide and wheelchair accessible which is a nice option. The unit seems well insulated as we have barely heard a peep from our neighbors above and beside which is a nice change for me from the last apartment building I lived in.
The windows in the rooms are quite large allowing for plenty of natural light; the unit was spotlessly clean and new carpet had even been put into the Master bedroom just prior to our move in date.
Although the price point is higher here than in other rental properties in the City I think it is completely worth it. The area is quiet and safe, there is a beautiful park next door and plenty of amenities a few minutes drive away as well as a bus stop right in front of the building. Not to mention the common area living room where my boyfriend and I sometimes hang out and the gym in the building are amazing perks. The apartment is top notch! I am very satisfied with what I have seen so far and look forward to making a home here.

Bonnie, the on-site manager, and Lee, the maintenance manager, are quality people and have added to making this our home without the worries. Also, those that maintain the inside and outside keep a high standard as I would in my own home.
We hope to live here for many years to come. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We moved in a couple of weeks ago. Our entire experience with Bonnie, the on site manager, and the head of maintenance, Lee, has been phenomenal! We see proof of quality people working for Broadstreet to take care of us. Those that work at keeping the outside and inside clean and maintained also get out thanks.
Southland Green is definitely the best choice for us and we hope to stay here for a very long time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall moving experience so far has been nothing short of a dream come true, since I decided to flee the province of Québec and its authoritarian regime. I looked for a nice, easy place to live and the elevator was a must for my disabled partner. My job as a long haul truck driver allowed me to visit many places and I decided to make Medicine Hat my new home. Then I came across Southland Green while looking for apartments. From then, everything went smoothly, largely due to the fantastic level of professionalism and proficiency displayed by Bonnie, the site manager. I knew nothing about renting in AB, she took the time to explain everything I needed to know, managed my moving schedule as it changed twice...
The property itself is spotless, and all the advertised amenities are real.
Just a heads-up though, if you plan on moving your household with a 53' semi truck (I was sharing the load with another household), being able to park the rig sufficiently close to one of the entrance of the main building (the 280) is a gamble. If your suite is in the 284, don't even think about it, the parking will not accommodate such a large rig.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely neighbourhood. Apartment building is new and clean with gym and lounge space. Proximity to school and running trails make it a perfect spot for our family. Bonnie, site manager is a wonderful person to deal with.
