★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very scenic drive, SUV or better a good idea for access. Beautiful vistas, lots of lakes and local flora and fauna. Efforts to establish ecological stability are obvious. Met a rattlesnake unexpectedly, so keep that on your mind if trekking about.

It’s all burnt trees and don’t waste time visiting this place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a short drive off the highway, and then some rough gravel paths, with some water if it's been raining, and then you're up in some amazing country. A naturalist's paradise, with some many plants, birds, and animals to identify. Bring a camera and binoculars. Bring a picnic lunch, but you don't really need to pack much, as most of this area can be seen from your vehicle, with some short hikes to get to some prominent locations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Breath taking views. The road driving in is about 18km of rough gravel terrain, however, it is manageable for a car at a low speed. The hike is moderate, and I would consider any skill level to be able to complete it!
