★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've visited this winery twice this summer. I must say it has become a favorite. The garden up the stone steps is lovely for sitting in. The indoor facility is absolutely stunning. The wine is wonderful! A real shining point of this place is the staff. We had a private tasting with janik the first time and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and best of all, hilarious ! The second time we visited we had a lovely chat with Aliya who was delightful! We will be returning !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in at Maverick Estate Winery on our way into town and we’re greeted by such a fun and knowledgeable staff. Even though it was near closing, that staff jumped right into getting us settled and in our tasting session. Dawn, Sharon and Janik were all on staff and made it such a fun experience. Special shout out to Sharon who took us through the tasting experience, she was so fun, and so knowledgeable in the tasting and we couldn’t help but buy a couple of bottles for the road. Will definitely stop in again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The wines at Maverick have been great for a number of years and with a fresh new winemaker have gotten even better. The Amber Pinot Gris is now a favorite with lots of character, yet easy to pair. The Rubeus is a fantastic value for a Tuesday night red. The Ella is great anytime! We have just tried the cider and have added them to our list of must haves. Excellent winery for virtually any taste!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always feel so welcomed by this winery and have enjoyed their delicious wines on several occasions. The staff are knowledgeable and fun to talk with. The tasting room is big and bright plus they have a lovely patio. They make the best wine-infused ciders I’ve ever tasted too. I enjoyed them quite often while floating down the river channel last summer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a blast at Maverick today. We originally came in just for ciders but walked out with almost a whole case of wine. Kaitlyn was phenomenal. We learned so much about the wine making process and the wines themselves. Out of the 6-7 wineries we tasted in this trip, Kaitlyn by far was the best. You’ve made a regular out of me and whenever I come back out this way, I’ll make sure to come back. Thank you so much

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I fancy ourselves winery aficionados. But often, the experience falls short: we sip excellent wine served by a boring host, or we’re entertained by an engaging host, but taste wine not worth writing home about.
At Maverick, we got BOTH!
Our host Kaitlyn was knowledgeable, efficient, and warm. We appreciated learning about the types of grapes, the effects of climate, smoke, and altitude on the fruit, as well as how to identify different notes in the finished product.
We bought many bottles and enjoyed them all. See you soon, Maverick! ?
