★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'll start with the positive, nursing staff. Unfortunately they cannot do anything above what the "rotating" doctor staff allows. My family member was in this hospital for 17 days. Unfortunately my family member suffered with pain that was not managed well during this time. The physicians assigned to her were not qualified or experienced in how to deal with the illnesses that were presented. Only after going to the previously scheduled specialist appointment was the reason for the initial admittance to hospital figured out as well as a treatment plan for recovery started. I would ask South Huron Hospital if you cannot handle a complicated medical condition, please transfer people to doctors who do know how to treat them. I would discourage anyone from going to this hospital if you have anything more than a routine illness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot speak highly enough of the recent care that I received at South Huron Hospital. The entire staff including emergency room, doctors, nursing, office, kitchen and cleaning was most professional, helpful, kind and caring.
I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hospital. The kindness, dignity and patience extended by the nurses is commendable. I even had a visit from a nurse in emergency to see how I was doing. (Thank you Brenda). I felt very fortunate that my circumstances lead me to this wonderful little hospital.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wouldn't have confidence in a hospital that does not give out discharge papers or follow up report to family doctors after a patient suffered stroke/seizure like symptoms. Just bc I'm "young" and "relatively healthy", and the hospital lacks a CT machine, doesn't mean I shouldn't follow up with another health professional. Recommendation to call 911 if it happens again is gonna be hard if the same episide happens again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve never seen a hospital care so little about their patients. I’ve never been faced with so much attitude during an initial “hello”. How you expect to make anyone feel comfortable or safe at your hospital with your current staff is beyond me.
Both receptionists were nightmares. Anyone I heard talking to any patient was condescending and rude. None of them deserve to be a provider of health over someone else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if you want to risk your life it's a good hospital but if I was bleeding out infront of this building id ask to be taken to any other hospitals. I had a buddy with a broken leg who got x-rays and got sent home and was told it was a sprained. so he called London and they set him up an emergency surgery for his broken leg.
