After many many months we moved in, owners in the Greenwich project in Pointe-Claire were suddenly asked to pay all deficits accumulated before we acquired ownership + condo fee cheques given during notary were returned, then we were asked to pay double of the signed amount agreed during sales, back since the first month of ownership. Why owners have to pay deficit of Sotramont, even for the period we haven't owned our house? It's like cheating to have all our cheques given at notary returned, then claimed that we owe double for all services we don't see out of a sudden, because of correction after eight months!
K	Kim F on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stay away from Sotramont! Horrible after sales service. Sent countless emails, left many phone messages and not one person returned a call or responded to an email. Since June 1, 2019 we are waiting for missing mosquito nets, we are now November...you are basically left on your own. They evidently only care about the sale...Too bad!! The only pleasant department at this company are the sales agents.

They have very poor quality building and they have terrible after sale service. I purchases the condo at Bois Franc, the dishwasher was not installed properly and the toilet was block by the construction tool. The floor was not done correctly and started to raising up and panels were disconnected only after 11 months. STAY AWAY FROM SOTRAMONT unless you want endless problems for your home.
E	EJ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two floods, one in each of my bathroom and both are due to the fact that they pierced the water pipes while installing the showers, what a noob mistake. I almost had a 3rd flood had I not check under the sink because the washing machine was not installed correctly. Missing parts at the front door, sinking floors, crooked mirrors, windows and cabinets, cement falling onto cars in the garage...the list in endless. Who knew you had to fix everything when you buy a brand new condo. Stay away from them.

First and last time from Sotramont as this is not the level of service anyone would expect. It is shame because what otherwise seems like a good builder they completely ruin with after sales. Almost 1 year and I wait for the completion of all open points in my home after several hundred emails, phone calls and texts. What a crying shame!!!

At first the Sotramont team was pretty disorganized which we understand was as a result of turnover of long standing following ownership changes. It wasn’t pleasant, many mistakes were made and we had little faith they could deliver the final product they promised. But they came through and delivered the unit with little delay despite the pandemic. More surprising, all the Issues that we brought up during the pre inspection were taken care of. Many thanks to Garen, Alex, Justin and the after sales team on coming through for us in the end.
C	Carlos Krueger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well..My Mom and I decided to Take A Risk and move to Another Apartment Complex...But to A Condo in the Pointe Claire neighborhood..Part of the Sotramont industrial complex..Or LIVEO buildings..Well we made the first Payment for July...And Are ready to MOVE in June 28th..But..Recently the Bureau for Sales ..Things got Dead Quiet..No ANSWER Or feedback from the sales representatives..STARTING to wonder if they Are Really there for you as a HUMAN being...And I'm worried that they WILL forget us renting this Condo at 1,615.!!????..The Building looks Good..Pool and Gym Are FANTASTIC...We SHALL See How long the Good Service will last..???
J	John Damien on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dishonest builder, terrible company. Stay away if you don't want to have any problem with your new dream home. The whole crew from sales administrator, project manager to after sales are two faced. The interior designer was not helpful and doesn't her thing. Then, sales will rip you off by how they charge 30% markups on customizations with the int designer. Instead of $100 + 30% = $130, they use $100/(1-0.30) = $142.86 That's how they rip you off at the start with an extra 9.89%...from their 30% markup. They will hand over and rush you into possession with an unfinished house. Once you go to the notary, the mortgage starts for you and it's off the books for Sotramont. The notary they use will run after you to do the handover as soon as they can. It's worst than the repo guys. Once you live in it, you'll notice lots of low quality finishings here and there. It's not what one would expect in a brand new house. But just to show that they care, they love taking care of small repairs but for major issues, they will ghost you until you wear out and give up. Completely dishonest move on their part. Hoping to buy the house of my dreams that turns into a nightmare. I am not alone, just look at the thread of 1 star reviews, they should be stopped legally from hiding behind the fine prints and ripping off innocent consumers. For a brand new house, expect nothing less. If I can give only 1 advice, I will say "buy from another builder". God bless all the owners living through misery right now.
