★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very unclean, had a smell when first entered. next day looked like its coming from the washroom, flushed a lot but the smell didnt go. kids were very uncomfortable because of it. there was a sofa in the room which was dirty and it was touching the ground in the middle. the staff was very rude too. checkout was 11 am and they started calling on room phone from 9:30. will not recommend.

The site was clean and tidy. The facilities were great and the owner was very helpful and welcoming. It’s also in a fantastic spot to wander down to the river and watch the boats come and go.
Really glad we stayed here!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried staying in a different “blue” motel before coming to Somass. This was muuuch better! Room was clean and had everything needed include kitchen items. Place was right off the highway but quiet enough and felt safe/secure. Close to town. Reasonable price. Would stay here again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a motel I give it five stars. Clean, well laid out decent size room and quiet. Parking in front of the door. Decent sized fridge. They also have a few larger units probably two bedrooms that were booked. Pool looked good though did not swim. RV area tucked in behind trees is a nice spot with picknick tables. I would stay again and can recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Front desk man was incredibly rude. This property has gone downhill. I stayed here many times over the years and all the beautiful trees on the property (including an old growth oak tree and a gorgeous pear tree) were destroyed and cut down. So incredibly sad. I won’t be staying here any more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet, bright and comfy kitchen unit. Easy access and large parking area. Brand new floors and friendly service. Better than any neighbourhood motel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great stay. Easy booking, clean rooms, and a quiet area. It was nice to have a kitchen in our cottage so we didnt have to eat out all the time. We will be back for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would definitely stay here again! It is a great location, walk along the riverwalk, really close to everything. My room was clean, very comfortable and quiet, and i like the quaint appearance. It is older but well kept.
