Je n'ai pas eu le temps de l'installer encore, mais sérieusement, c'est vraiment trop cher pour une seule boîte! J'étais prête à dépenser ce montant, mais je ne crois vraiment pas que ça vaut ça. 98$ pour 14pi carré....On parle d'une couvrance de 2pi x 7pi. Donc, 7$ du pi carré... si on compare...même un plancher de bois franc en érable est moins cher. On peut le retrouver entre 3.50$ à 6.00$ du pi carré! Bonne réflexion! Mais pour du luxe, parfois, on devient fou! ?
Super raw wood which gives a beautiful natural effect! I chose brown barn wood. Haven't had time to install it yet, but seriously, it's way too expensive for one box! I was willing to spend that amount, but I really don't think it's worth it. $ 98 for 14ft square .... We're talking about 2ft x 7ft coverage. So $ 7 per square foot ... if we compare ... even a maple hardwood floor is cheaper. It can be found between $ 3.50 to $ 6.00 per square foot! Good reflection! But for luxury, sometimes we go crazy! ?

Avant de m’aventurer dans la réalisation de ce projet, qui a été récemment terminé (avril 2021), je me suis posée la question suivante : quel matériau ayant sa source dans la nature offrirait les propriétés suivantes : beauté et chaleur caché 100% bois; rehaussement de la valeur de la pièce; durable pour des années..... Mon choix a été d’opter pour le BOIS DE GRANGE. Alors a débuté ma seconde étape soit d’identifier le fournisseur. Je voulais que celui-ci soit Québécois. Alors mon choix a été SOLU. Pourquoi : ils ont pour mission de récupérer les plus belles planches de vieilles granges au Québec et en Ontario. Donc aucune imitation - c’est du Véritable. ET C’EST VRAI SE SONT RÉELLEMENT DE BELLES PLANCHES DE VIEILLES GRANGES. Ma troisième étape a été de mesurer la superficie à recouvrir. Une fois fait j’ai commandé 8 boîtes de bois de grange brun et 2 boîtes de bois de grange brun-gris. Tout le processus de la commande c’est réalisé avec Shannon - et vraiment elle est Efficace ??. Réception de courriel qui confirme la commande et le délai de livraison est très très rapide même si je demeure à des kilomètres de Trois-Rivières (lieu de la compagnie). Ma quatrième étape a été le revêtement de mon mur. Ce fût une phase très facile a réalisé : avant la pose, j’ai fait un exercice d’harmonisation des pièces de façon à obtenir un résultat répondant à mes besoins; par la suite, je les ai disposées et clouées avec des clous de finition de 1 pouce 1/4. J’ai voulu faire cette pose de façon périodique et non en accélération - ce qui me permettrait de rendre ceci agréable à faire et de prendre quelques moments de réflexion. Finalement, mon mur a été complété. Et je suis vraiment Satisfaite et Heureuse du résultat. Objectif atteint. ?♀️
My project was to cover one of the walls in my living room (the first room you see when you enter the house from the front). Before venturing into the realization of this project, which was recently completed (April 2021), I asked myself the following question: which material having its source in nature would offer the following properties: beauty and hidden warmth 100% wood ; enhancement of the coin's value; durable for years ..... My choice was to opt for BARN WOOD. So began my second step, to identify the supplier. I wanted this one to be from Quebec. So my choice was SOLU. Why: their mission is to recover the most beautiful planks from old barns in Quebec and Ontario. So no imitation - this is Real. AND IT'S TRUE, THEY ARE REALLY BEAUTIFUL OLD BARNS. My third step was to measure the area to be covered. Once done I ordered 8 boxes of brown barn wood and 2 boxes of brown-gray barn wood. The whole ordering process is done with Shannon - and she really is Efficient. Receipt of an email confirming the order and the delivery time is very, very fast even if I live miles from Trois-Rivières (where the company is located). My fourth step was to cover my wall. It was a very easy phase to achieve: before installation, I did an exercise in harmonizing the parts so as to obtain a result that met my needs; afterwards I laid them out and nailed them with 1 1/4 inch finish nails. I wanted to do this pose periodically, not speeding up - which would allow me to make this fun to do and take a few moments of reflection. Finally, my wall was completed. And I am really Satisfied and Happy with the result. Goal achieved. ?♀️

Erreur de leur part dans la quantité fournie, donc travaux qui n'ont pas pu être fini à temps et l'entrepreneur a du revenir pour les quelques planches qui manquaient. Au départ, ils n'ont pas voulu me dédommager pour les frais supplémentaires engendrés, il a fallu que j'insiste et ils m'ont fait sentir assez mal. Dommage, car pour le reste c'était ok...sauf 5% des planches de bois d'ingénierie qui n'avait pas d'embouffeture aux extrémités. Assurez-vous de vérifier vos quantités et ne vous attendez pas à être dédommagés s'ils font des erreurs, ce n'est pas dans leur politique, que vous soyez particulier ou entrepreneur.
Very satisfied with the hardwood, but dissatisfied with the service. Error on their part in the quantity supplied, so work that could not be finished on time and the contractor had to come back for the few boards that were missing. Initially, they did not want to compensate me for the additional costs incurred, I had to insist and they made me feel bad. Too bad, because for the rest it was ok ... except 5% of the engineered wood planks which had no indentation at the ends. Be sure to check your quantities and don't expect compensation if they make mistakes, it's not their policy whether you are an individual or a contractor.
