Unfortunately very bad and not honest service. The shoe soles that were glued fell off one week later. He uses a big can of German "Allzweckkleber" (all-purpose adhesive) for everything.

The shop closes during commercial hours on weekdays without any notice or information given, and you cannot rescue the boots you urgently need when Humberto said they would be ready. Their phone number is useless. It is very unprofessional, to say the least. Look for another shoe repair shop; this one is not worth the trouble.

Warranty only good for 30 days, even though I didn’t wear the boots until fall. $160 worth of work and they fell apart in a very short time. Owner is very loud, repetitive wants to talk and doesn’t like to listen.

if i could give a zero star, i would. A total scam. I had a very simple shoe repair here. All the repair requires is a little bit shoe glue. My bad I did not ask the price at the beginning. The chubby owner asked for 25 buck in the end. I could see his face twitching to his buddy as if he were bluffing me. I was surprised and ask for a price listing. That was when he knew I am not a fool. He said alright, 20 bucks. Yeah, all of a sudden a fixed price dropped from 25 to 20. I did not want to talk to that ass hole for one more second. I throw a 20 bill to him and left. Never ever coming back again. I am so repulsed and disgusted. Cash only means that they probably do not pay all the tax. If I could ever report them to some sort of business regulators, I would.

Humberto does excellent work. He's repaired shoes that other Edmonton cobblers have told me to throw in the garbage, and made them as good as new. I've taken shoes to him for years, and he always fixed them perfectly. Even though U of A is now out of my way, I won't take my shoes to be repaired anywhere else.

I brought in a pair of 10-year-old leather boots that had been totally destroyed by Edmonton winters and needed a complete resole. Humberto quoted me a reasonable price and showed me what they would need to replace on the boot. Not only were they ready in less than 3 days, when I came in to pick them up they were polished, brushed, and beautifully resoled past my expectations. Worth every dollar I spent for the degree of care and service provided.

Quality and prompt service. I have never had any issues with my shoe repairs here. I do realize they are a little pricier than other places in Edmonton, but I appreciate the convenience since I work 5 minutes away. Humberto is a very nice man and I think some of the reviewers here have completely taken his comments out of context. He does like to joke around and get to know his customers. I see nothing wrong with that. I do recommend the place and the workmanship.

I took an expensive briefcase with a nearly split handle to the shop, and the owner assured me he could fix the handle. After nearly a month, the owner told me my bag was ready. When I picked it up, he had done nothing to the handle- told me it was not necessary to fix it. Instead he slapped some cheap coloring on the bag (which I did not request) and charged me over $80 for the 'repair.' The handle broke within a month. Not surprising since he made no attempt to fix it. I have never gone back there since
