★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! Make sure you know your shoes are defective before 30days.... You know why they refuse to return them for a refund. I bought soft moc brand shoes they ripped apart within 40days. I went to return them and because I wasn't within 30 days I was refused a refund. Now tell me a place where you have to make sure your shoes are defective within 30days???? Worst experience ever. Never will i set foot in your store again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not at all helpful - I bought some boots right after Christmas and the laces were breaking - I tried to come in 2 weeks later and get one lace replaced. I was told flat out "No, laces aren't covered by warranty". I was so surprised I just left. I should have asked if they wanted to exchange the entire boot. I had a receipt and everything ready, but was shot down. No help at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second time I have been to this location and been completely ignored. Well.... Not completely. The first time the girl working looked me dead in the eyes while I stood there holding two different pairs of shoes I was wanting to try. She spun around and went in the back room not even acknowleding me. The second time I wasn't even looked at. I took my money elsewhere. You probably should to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite showing online as in stock at the Hillside location, there was none. Staff member said she brought me the same sandal in a different colour but it was a completely different style. She disappeared continually despite there being other staff members doing nothing. Terrible store atmosphere as well. Loud, cluttered and messy. Only suggestion was to order it online instead...and retailers wonder why brick and mortar stores are dying...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried on two pairs of boots and the staff member who helped me had given me the one I preferred in size 8 whereas I'm a size 7.5. When asked whether my size is available, I was flat out told that Sorel boots don't come in half-sizes, which is a lie. And I wasn't given no other help whatsoever!
When I checked the Softmoc website, the same pair is available in my size, just not in the Hillside store.
Is it so hard to direct me to the website? Or another Softmoc store perhaps? Don't think so. Worst customer care I've received ever!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1 star is pushing it. Terrible customer service. I recommend looking for footwear elsewhere. The girls working will ignore you and have no interest in answering questions.
The shoe company in the same mall has lovely staff and most of the same product.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience, needed to make an exchange for a size up and they didn't have it in stock so they put the order through online on our behalf quickly and easily. Mayfair location refused the same unworn return claiming they were scuffed, Lesson learned will always be sticking with Hillside going forward!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this soft moc location this afternoon to purchase 2 pairs of blundstones and the lady working was so rude and grumpy. She was totally unhelpful and dismissive with our needs for sizing and try ons.. her attitude made us feel like we were inconveniencing her by being there. We almost left but thankfully the younger guy working was really wonderful and helped us with our purchase. Please review your staff and their customer service procedures STAT. We were certainly not the only customers she had a negative interaction with while we were in the store
