Reliable snow clearing. They clear the driveway thoroughly, typically shortly after the plow goes by. I have used them for three years now, and am pleased with their service.

UPDATE: Feb 7 2020 Who you gonna call? Definitely N O T Snowbusters!!! Since our last review written 3 weeks ago, there have been 4 (including today’s) snow event, and guess what? Yep, our neighbourhood is last again! And we're not talking about 1 to 2 hours after the competitors. No, that would actually be great! We're talking about 4 to 6+ hours. As I’m writing this, it’s 7:15PM and our driveway is still FULL of snow since 5:30AM – no sign of Snowbusters in our neighbourhood!!! Competitors cleared driveways at 10AM (truck with plough) and 2:30PM (Exterior Solutions) and 3PM (Central Snow). We’re housebound – e v e r y s n o w s t o r m!!! This morning, the snowbank at the end of the driveway measured over 18”. There’s no way I'm going to drive the car through that. And due to an injury this fall, I’m unable to shovel the snowbank – besides, if I always have to shovel to get out of the driveway BEFORE Snowbusters arrives, then that pretty much defeats the purpose of PAYING $400/season to have the driveway cleared!!! So in response to the owner’s explanation, that oh well, somebody has to be last, and guess what, that’s your neighbourhood this year, well we’ve decided to cancel our contract for the remaining of the snow season with Snowbusters. And NO, we will not be signing up with them next season. And to think that we referred them to a good friend living in Little Italy, who signed up for Snowbuster’s service this year, and is ALSO experiencing this terrible service, it just makes my stomach turn! ========================= ORIGINAL POST: Jan 16 2020 This is the second snow season that we've used this company and how disappointing their service has been this year (2019/2020)! We're not quite halfway through the snow season and they're consistently the LAST snow clearing company in our neighbourhood (Central Park) to clear the snow from the driveways. Waiting 9hrs AFTER the snow has STOPPED to have the laneway cleared is too long! The previous time was 12hrs! If we had time lags like this last season (and we also received more snow!) we wouldn't have signed up with Snowbusters this year. Plus their pricing went up! But we stayed with them because we were happy last year and are LOYAL clients. We obviously are NOT the only residents that are unhappy. This was an email sent out to all clients from the company: January 6 2020 "We have had a few questions recently regarding timing. When we mention our rough start time, keep in mind most of our routes can take anywhere between 6-12 hours to complete depending on traffic, snow depth and type, equipment issues, etc. For example if we say: “Midnight start” it may take until 6am or even 12 noon to complete everything. It is our internal goal to clear everything within 8 hours, but factors mentioned above may cause some unexpected delays. Because of the nature of this work we cannot guarantee service times." If they had mentioned 6-12hrs to clear snow AFTER it stops snowing in their renewal form, we would have selected another snow clearing service!!! To tell their clients that this is the "norm" AFTER everyone complains is just trying to do damage control! To top it off, we haven't received any large amount of snow precipitation this year compared to last year! And Snowbusters is having trouble keeping up! So either A) Snowbusters does not have enough equipment to handle the amount of customers they have or B) Snowbusters does not have enough staff to create shorter lead times or C) Snowbusters accepted TOO MANY clients that they can't handle the volume of laneways to clear in a reasonable time frame (6hrs MAX)! Very unsatisfied... hopefully things will improve and they can redeem themselves before the end of the season, otherwise, bye-bye! Pics are from the snowfall on Dec 15. Competitors did their job and cleared neighbours' driveways within 6HRS... Took Snowbusters OVER 12HRS to clear laneways in our neighbourhood! NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Not happy with the service during the last storm. Yes, 35cms was a lot of snow but no one came the first day and it took over 3 days for the whole driveway to be cleared. I am reasonable but that is unacceptable.

STAY AWAY Read previous reviews, you will come to understand snowbusters either shows or they don't. Youre lucky to have them show up in a timely manner if not at all. understaffed in the field because he can't maintain employees ( doesn't pay operators) unexperienced operators with overwhelming work load, takes on more contracts than fleet can handle doesn't meet all commitments. John comes of as an honest guy however you need to be cautious ⚠️ with him.

If you want to wait 8 hrs after it stops snowing to have your laneway cleared then this is your contractor. I have contracted with other snow clearing companies and when I returned home from work my laneway was cleared. Not with Snowbusters I park in my laneway and they show up at 10:57pm and clear the end of the laneway behind my car leaving the remainder for me to shovel by hand!

So not the best experience with their actual snow clearing, but really great customer service. We canceled our service halfway through the season because consistently we were snowed in for too long. I had to clear my own driveway on more than one occasion because they were so slow to come we simply couldn’t wait any longer! When they did “clear” it, it was a poor attempt that left me clearing it anyway. I paid extra for having my walkway cleared and I don’t think they ever actually did it because I simply couldn’t wait whole days for them to finally show up. cancelling the service was fast and easy and the staff handling emails are fast and very nice to work with. Made what was an unpleasant and frustrating experience very much less so. Congrats to them for that! I suspect they are struggling to keep up with demand and that’s why clearing service is so slow.

We had a disappointing experience with Snowbusters this year for our contract to clear our driveway and walkway. It started well for the first two snowfalls, they came within a reasonable time to clear our driveway. But for subsequent snow events, (we've had 4-5 now), they haven't come to clear the driveway unless we call or email them to complain after 24 hours. So now our driveway is packed with hard icy snow because it wasn't cleared within a timely manner. The walkway has been even worse.

Update: A fourth email requiring immediate service did the trick. A driver came immediately. I also received an email apology as apparently we had been passed over about 4 times. I am grateful for the email response and changing my rating from 2 stars to 4. Curious to see if Snowbusters can get to 5 stars. Guess I have the rest of the season to find out Original review: Paid for the service and feel completely forgotten. Snowbusters has again left me struggling to get myself out with the children over a day after our latest storm. In an emergency situation, counting on them would not be good. Poor customer service. We will be looking for a better plow company next season. Edited to add: I have emailed twice in the last 36 hours and tried to phone. Phone number goes to a voicemail that is not set up to accept messages.
