As I told them when I was in the shop, I am quite pleased with how easy it was to do business with them. Quite happy to recommend them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought my first Honda lawnmower from SOS many years ago. Then moved to a different part of town much further away. Bought a Honda snowblower from someone else because of availability at the time. A few years later I had a starting problem with the snowblower on the first big snowfall. I was not looking forward to lugging it to a dealer and back for service or paying for transport. SOS talked me through how to drain the bad gas as nothing was broken and I was up and running. I've traveled back to them since then to buy a few things like a battery and spark plug just for my appreciation of their help. It pleased me to travel to SOS today and buy another Honda lawnmower. I recommend Honda power equipment and I recommend SOS - been great to me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anyone with a Sump Pump and an unreliable Electric Service will understand the panic of an electrical outage and a sump hole brimming with water. Basement flooding is a spring thing for me , so I was caught still shopping in the Fall when my generator needs went straight to Code Red urgent. I called S.O.S. 10 minutes before they were about to close to ask if they had the Honda Generator that I had been shopping for, they did but told me they were about to close. I made a very brief joke about how my basement would be flooded by the time they re-opened and they immediately without hesitation offered to wait the 1/2 it would take me to make the trip in rush hour traffic. When I got there, there was no rushed experience, I paid and then went outside to get a full new owner briefing on how to properly maintain and care for my new generator. Now the funny part is that the power came back on 8 seconds before I was about to start up the generator at home, but I'm ready for the next outage. Thanks Guys your service has bought my loyalty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid for my lawn tractor Friday morning...they delivered Friday afternoon. Tractor came ready to go with gas. You don't get this service at the big box stores. Their equipment and service is top notch. The tractor is a beast. Looking fwd to doing more business with S.O.S.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We always get great service and all of our questions are answered. top of the line equipment. Might be a few extra dollars up front but the difference in quality has been worth it. Lawnmowers, snowblowers, pressure washers, pumps. We have come to rely on them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took a very small 1000watts (50cc engine) Honda generator for a tune up. They charged me $72 for parts!! $13.32 for 0.25liter of oil, $24.68 for a $10 spark plug, and $21.24 for misc fuel rags…
I would stay away from this place for service. I wanted to support a small local business, but these are very unreasonable, inflated charges. I wish I had read some previous reviews before going there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big box stores (BBS) have their place, but anyone purchasing power equipment needs to buy from SOS. BBSs cannot complete with the service, knowledge and tech support SOS brings to the table.
I will never buy power equipment any where else since I believe they service everything the sell. Tell me any other reseller that can do that.
I purchased a Honda lawn mower, which had an issue shortly after purchase. They asked me to drop by and they will look at it immediately, which they did without delay, actually 3 guys were helping me out. After approx. 15 min. the service tech said it will take longer to determine the problem, so instead of making me wait, he handed me a new unit and sent me on my way.
On top of that, they called Honda on my behave and changed the serial# on my warranty!!
Again, tell me if you would ever get service like that in a BBS. You can barely find anyone to help you, let alone 3 guys jumping on the situation.
Thank you SOS for restoring my faith.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service from first contact to delivery. Filled out a contact form after hours and was contacted the next morning about a Honda generator. Kevin answered all my questions and set a delivery time that was convenient for me. Delivered with a smile and some hands on instructions on how to store it until I needed it. Great service I recommend S.O.S. if you need a generator.
