On January 7th 2021, I received a call from Snap Financial. They advised me that a mistake had been made on their end and that they had stopped taking the monthly payment out of my bank account sometime in 2019. They were curious as to why I never contacted them. My payment comes out the 15th of each month and on that day, I have a life insurance premiums, car insurance, credit card payment, property taxes that are also withdrawn. I did not notice a small amount like $58 was missing. Also, being in the middle of a pandemic in 2020, my husband had lost his job in November of 2019, I definitely had other things on my mind and honestly never even noticed the missing payment. So during the call in January 2021, they were asking me to pay the amount of $922 in full for the "missed" payments. Had this company not made a mistake, I never would have missed a payment. My husband was again out of work but I asked the clerk to resume my $58 a month payments immediately and that we could speak again in a month while I figured out what to do. In the spring of 2021, I increased my payments to $179. so as to catch up on this outstanding balance. Ever since that first call, I have been receiving emails, "without Prejudice" communications, phone calls from this company. I speak to a different person each time and I have to explain the WHOLE SITUATION. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. In January of 2022, I received another letter which announced "By neglecting your payment obligations, you are in breach of the terms and conditions of your contractual agreement" I never missed a payment, there was never an NSF on my account, I never put a stop payment on the account. At first I was told, "oh don't worry, it's computer generated" but what about the phone calls and all the harassment? On January 24th, I sent an email to the manager listed on the letter and asked for a statement of account as I do not wish to pay interest. I never heard back but today, I received another call.

The second person I dealt with was extremely helpful and understood I needed a statement to say I paid out. Lucky you have this employee that got you the 5 star review. The First Lady I dealt with was Liane extremely rude, unhelpful, and not understanding. All I needed was an email to say I paid off my balance and she would not do this for me. She insisted it was no possible but clearly that was not the case.

My review is for LUCY, who was absolutely wonderful. After a terrible customer service experience with someone else at SNAP Financial (I believe his name was "Obin"), Lucy fixed everything. I was having issues getting access to the online system, and she let me know what the problem was, and then fixed the whole thing in minutes-it was a simple problem. She was friendly, and asked questions and made me feel much better after the previous experience. Lucy needs to be promoted-her customer service is EXCELLENT!

Customer service at Snap Financial was exceptional, they answered my questions with straight forward answers in a kind and patient manner, they also kept me in the loop with what’s happening with my application until I was approved, once I was approved it was a quick process to sign the forms electronically and the money came directly into my account. Now I have new efficient windows and a car. Snap..., that was a good experience.

We use this financing often for our clients (Mini Splits/Heat Pumps) and have never had any major issues. The application process is quite simple and dealer support have been able to resolve any problems we've had quite promptly. Would recommend.

Lucy was very helpful in handling my request to pay out the balance on my account. I did not give a 5 star rating as the information she provided was not consistent with information provided by another representative at SNAP back in mid-August 2021. If I had followed the advice provided on that earlier date, I would have incurred an interest charge even though my intent was to pay the balance off prior to interest starting to accrue.

My customer service contact was Liz. She was very friendly and helpful. She was not able to provide me with an instant answer to my inquiry, however, did indicate she would call me back with a response. When she called back, she had detailed information about my initial question. I definitely would not hesitate to call Snap insurance if I require further assistance. Highly recommend!!
