About Smyl RV Centre
At Smyl RV, we have been helping our community go camping for 50+ years. We want to help your family experience the joys of camping. Being a family-owned RV dealership, we understand the value of family, we strive to help our customers have the best experience possible.
Smyl Motors was founded in St. Paul, Alberta on July 9, 1962, by three Smyl brothers: Bernie, Henry, and George. The company started with the purchase of Conroy Motors, a Pontiac, GMC, and Allis Chalmer dealer and began with 18 employees. In the early seventies, Smyl Motors expanded its operations to include recreational vehicles (RVs) as well as a line-up of marine products. Over time Smyl Motors enjoyed continued growth and in 1978 moved into our present location on the east side of St. Paul. The company once again experienced growth in 1997 with the purchase of St. Paul Sales and Service, the Chevrolet dealership, thus allowing us to carry a full line of General Motors products. The former St. Paul Sales and Service location had then been transformed to house our body shop, RV, and Marine operations. With time comes change; we discontinued our marine products to allow us to concentrate on complete sales and service of our RV lines. In April 2008, we celebrated our Grand Re-Opening of Smyl RV Centre in our brand new facility and location.
RVing is a family activity that almost anyone can afford if the right RV is found for their needs. That is why we carry a large inventory of quality new RVs and used RVs to match every budget and family activity. Our manufacturers are known for their great construction and their dependable warranties. We don't carry the most lines, we carry the best lines such as Montana, Cougar, Hideout (Keystone RV), Radiance, Shadow Cruiser, and Hitch (Cruiser RV).

Met with the tech who provided the service and he detailed the work he completed on my behalf. Book early as these folks are busy. Easy to come back here for my RV repair and maintenance needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ “we don’t back up our product because it’s not ours and we don’t build them here!” Quote from the service manager in reference to our new Cougar. After two years of constant in and out for heater problems (8 months of which prior to winter storage they said it was repaired only to have them acknowledge the next season they didn’t even look at it) they have not been able to properly fix it and now that warranty is up they are saying it’s no longer their problem but mine. I try to shop local but I highly recommend going elsewhere!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely do not recommend them. We called in advance to confirm a part was there, confirmed we would be in to get it today or tomorrow from 1 1/2 hours away. Get there, wait in line 20 minutes, get to the counter and find out, Oops, we didn’t put it away and we sold it.
Yep, excellent service from them. I will go to the city before I drive back to them.
The lady was nice about it but the old man on the phone half the time was very dismissive. Highly recommend you find another place to spend your money.
