Review edited to add: Nothing was ever resolved after the manger "reached out". I sent an email detailing everything and it was never responded to. 8 months after having the trailer, the frame is rusting. When we called we were told it should be covered under warranty because why would a trailer less than a year old be rusting? Turns out even though we PAID EXTRA to have the "extended warranty" it didn't cover it. The service (manager?) Said the best he could do was reduce out cost to half an hour of work to have it fixed. As much as I appreciate the fact he's discounting the work/repair that needs to be done, we shouldn't have to pay for it at all. It's defective and not something we caused. Staff are still friendly, but quality at Galaxy is a joke. ********** Very friendly staff, low quality product. We dealt with a newer salesman who admittedly didn't know everything about the campers he's selling. That's fine, he was friendly and we were happy to work with him. However he gave us some false information about the trailer we purchased that wasn't discovered until after possession. When we first looked at the trailer, it had apparently just arrived to the lot and hadn't gone through whatever quality control they do prior to selling. We were assured that the broken moldings etc were just from travelling to Canada and it would be all fixed up before we took it home. Turns out the shadow cruiser is just poor quality and cheaply made. The more time we spend in it, the more we find to be faulty. We were told there would be a ladder for the bunks ("it's not installed yet"), there isn't. We were told there was a back up camera, there isn't. Etc. Again, the staff are all very friendly and great to deal with, but overall I feel like we were cheated a bit on what we bought. You can definitely get better quality for a $50,000 trailer elsewhere.

When we walked onto the lot of Galaxy, I had no intention of actually purchasing a unit. I was there to look, and get ideas of what I might want in the future. Cowboy Jim came in on his day off, on his own time to show us around! His calm, kind demeanor and knowledgeable guidance made me comfortable and with the fact that Galaxy isn't pushy to sell I ended up finding a unit that we simply couldn't pass up. He helped with negotiations and got us a great trailer that our family is going to enjoy for a very long time! The whole team at Galaxy rallied and had our trailer ready for our very first camping trip in such a short amount of time it made my head spin! We are SO thankful for such an incredible team of people who care so much for their clients! I will always recommend Galaxy RV Westshore. I took my 5 year old travel trailer in for service to the Victoria store and was impressed by Galaxy RV's communication. I hadn't had any work done to the trailer in the 5 years I owned it (except for work I did every year). We are going on a big trip and will be away from service centres this summer, and I wanted to ensure we minimize any issues on the road. They checked the brakes, bearings, batteries and seals. Bearings needed to be repacked and a few seals had to be redone. The service manager went over all the work in detail with me and I even met the tech who did the work. I am very satisfied with the work and found everyone friendly, helpful and professional.

Tanya in sales worked serious magic to help my family and I get into the RV of our dreams. Also, Cowboy Jim was so kind and accommodating. He made a very significant investment (even scary) feel positive. I highly recommend these two for all your RV sales needs!

I don’t normally do reviews, but this situation deserves it. My wife and I came into Galaxy RV with high hopes and lofty wishes. Cowboy Jim made it all happen. With the no pressure sales and the speedy turnover. They had the unit we loved and at a fair price. We needed the unit ready to leave the next day for a ten day trip and they made it happen. Thanks for the great service Jim, you are fantastic at what you do.

We had been looking for our trailer for a couple years by the time we finally meet “Cowboy Jim” from Galaxy RV Victoria. He actually listened to our needs and wants of a trailer and was able to find us exactly what we were looking for, at a fair price. The whole Victoria crew was amazing and upbeat from counter though finance, maintenance, trailer/truck set up, walk-through, upper management and more. It truly feels like their arms open up and you become part of the Galaxy Family!
