L	Linda Durkee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since the first time I entered the offices of Dr. Smith; I have found the staff and Dr. Smith most thorough and kind. I have been pleased with the results of two separate surgeries.
E	Eveline Rathie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Smith inserted a toric lens in my left eye in January. It was put in upside down and I could not see properly. I wanted the lens removed within 3 months so that scar tissue did not form. He insisted on a 2nd opinion and an angiogram, neither of which were necessary and I had to wait for months for the appointments. At 6 months the lens was finally removed although there was already scar tissue. I asked Dr. Smith just before the surgery if he was confident he could remove the lens. He said he was. I was afraid he could not. After the surgery I was blind in my left eye and was rushed over to the retinal eye care clinic. I was scheduled for an emergency surgery 3 days later. I regained some vsion 10 days after the surgery. I now have a plastic lens sewn on to the back of my retina, very poor vision and major glare which stops me from driving at night. Apparently I'm part of the 2% who do not have a good result from cataract surgery. Just another statistic.

They answered all my questions and explained things exceptionally well. The procedure was a little nerve racking but Dr. Smith made me feel very comfortable and was over with very quickly. I have not had any problems with my eyes after the procedure. I can see perfectly again. ?
