We continue to be highly satisfied with the professional, knowledgeable, and prompt response to meet our auto insurance needs. I have been a long standing customer of this brokerage for many years, but most recently had the pleasure of dealing with Jessica Lopes. Jessica is amazing!! She helped us in a pinch to provide timely insurance coverage for our most recent auto purchases. I would highly recommend reaching out to Smith Petrie Carr & Scott for all of your insurance needs!! This insurance company is a joke, not to mention scam artists by charging way more than other insurance companies do. They quote you one thing, and you are charged another. Blatant dishonesty and bad service. Good luck getting in touch with your broker when you need them, such a waste. Go somewhere else that actually cares.

My husband and I have been with this company for decades. Past 2 years it has gone downhill and management seems to not care about the customers but meeting their quota. We pay alot of money each month and have been receiving below par service from Shelly. We have sent the Operation Management emails a few months ago when we had the issue thinking something will change but it became worst. Shelly still does not care about the job or her customers. Just collecting a pay cheque. Nightmare of a service from this company. If you want stress,superise policy changes, no response, no care from a company then this is the place.

I have been with them since 2009 for car and 2015 for house both ontario/quebec. At first it was great service. Joy Watson was always on the ball and doing her job as an insurance broker. In the past few years since she departed I have had a few brokers, the latest for a couple years. I found her work to be a little sloppy, as I had to contact my leasing companies and send them the proof of insurance or something as they never received it from my broker. Also found she had a laiser faire attitude, nothing is her fault, its not her business, she doesn't make the rules, type of attitude- a little unprofessional and lacking customer service in my opinion. I also found insurance for $1750 less someplace else. I am living in quebec however and they do not have many options ( I think 3 she said) - so maybe if u live in ontario its better.

Without any notice, I called Arnulfo Montemayor to update my insurance policy and received great service, right away! All the details related to that change were clearly and professionally explained. Arnulfo was very patient and even took the initiative to send a copy of the updated policy to other relevant stakeholders. It feels really good knowing that someone has your back when you need it!

I thought at first that this was a good brokerage company. Got a quote stating one amount. The amount turned out to be an extra 100 dollars. Asked them to go back to my original policy. Now my policy is 50 dollars more a month than it was originally. Would not recommend these people to anyone.

We have been this company 10 years plus and have had great service from Heather, Joy. But ever since we have had Shelly as out agent it has been the worst experience ever. We spend over $450 a month for car and home insurance and do not deserve this service. She never responds to simple or important questions. We send her 4-5 emails before any response; which at that time we have to include the Operation Mangers email Cheryl for us to get a response. Her excuse is she never got the email even tough I have PROOF that I sent her multiple emails in regards. Management needs to do something as soon as possible before many other customer leave this company to lack of customer service. Seems like loyalty is nothing to them after 10 years can’t imagine how new customer get treated. Maybe this is not the right job for Shelly.
