You are insured with Intact Insurance; you are not reassured. In general, when we pay our insurance, it is to have a peace of mind. We will have peace of mind because we are convinced that the insurance in which we invest all our assets will be present when needed. For over ten years we have been insured with an insurance company, we never default in our payments. But we had a flood in 2014 that has severely damaged our basement. When we turned to our insurance for help, she made it clear to us that no financial assistance will be given because it is not their responsibility. As of today, our basement is still not fixed. The last incident that broke the camel's back is that I had an accident February 2021. That too, the insurance refuse to fix it. Until now, I have no car to go to work while the company takes money every month for this. car. And insurance, it quietly continues to take fees from our accounts without worrying about our fate, as if apart from our money, our worries in their eyes are secondary, even non-existent. I do not recommend this insurance company to anyone.

Rates went up 30 % and they are not able to reduce it. I barely drive, 3x a month, and these ppl were not able to compensate me for less driving, however they upped my policy by 300.00 per yr. I had to reduce my coverage to be able to afford them now . Will NOT BE RENEWING WITH THEM NEXT YEAR, NOR AM I GOING TO RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE....ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Literally the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. Save you time and your sanity and never choose Intact. (1) Took me a month to just get an ESTIMATE of the total damages to my vehicle after my accident (2) Now I'm now stuck playing phone tag with people who apparently are never around trying to get an estimated repair date. (3) It took them 4 days and 3 phone calls to actually start my claim (4) It took them a week to tow my vehicle from the collision centre location to the city where I live (5) Another week to tow it to the correct body shop at my dealership because they brought it to the wrong place - their own shop, not the one I notedand (6) Another two weeks to get the estimated repair amount AND BIG surprise, I didn't even get the estimated repair amount from Intact Insurance - I got it from the body shop itself because Intact is too incompitent to reach out in a timely manner. Can't even call their general phone line because you're on holder for over an hour and then the line gets disconnected... They want to repair a $28,000 vehicle with almost $18,000 in damages. The biggest joke. Would not recommend Intact to my worst enemy. EDIT: Adding photos of how many other people are apparently being strung around as well! Check their twitter and it's obvious to see what level their customer service/services times are like! Tells me to contact their customer service… gets an automatic message that CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUT OF OFFICE UNTIL JANUARY 4th. WHY TELL ME TO CONTACT YOU WHEN NO ONE IS AVAILABLE.

Cancelled my policy on a car that is scrap and they charged me one extra month. So basically was paying insurance on a car that didn't exist anymore. Absolutely crooks. And yes when I paid I was always paying for the month ahead. So when I paid at the beginning of October I was paying for all of October. So to charge me for November is just theft and they should be disgusted as a company. Called and basically gave me the run around transferring me 4 separate times. Avoid this company at all costs. They're crooks.

I cancelled because of hidden fees! I paid my year up front, which was a huge mistake, since then they had my money and I couldn't walk away. That's when the hidden fees started... Apparently I have to also download an app so you can see where I am, and how fast I'm driving at all times, I wasn't made aware of this at all, and since I didn't download it on my 2006 Motorola I was charged fees, hardly fair. The cancellation fee was a whopping $260.00 and after explaining that other insurance companies had cancelation fees under $100 to no interest, it made it clear to me that this company was not here to provide a quality service, but instead to make money. Add a few hundred dollars onto the quote they give you because you have to account for their greed. After seeing owners response: Called you guys many times, nobody was willing to budge on any of this. You are more than welcome to call me if you want. However your associates already made it clear to me I had no choice but to pay both the $100 and the $260. Please dont pretend to care when you're in the public eye.

Very understanding ppl and positive. And there contracts are extremely accurate. They made me feel a lot better on the spot when I called for the emergency claim on the 24h very understanding and extremely understanding. And the normal hours call back extremely understanding and explained all the steps. That was my first claim in my life and they guided me perfectly.
