β β β β β this is the most expensive least flavourful bbq joint in BC. dont trust the stock photos, their takeout is criminally bad. do yourself a favour and stay away from here, thank me later.
I ordered ahead of time for pickup yet still was forced to wait outside in the winter cold for 20 minutes before even speaking to someone to pickup my order. my $107 order included 1lb brisket [which included 10 slices, half of which are used for sandwiches hence the extremely thin slices] full rack of ribs [large boned, fat filled cheap side ribs] and pulled pork [may as well be costco vacuum packed garbage] upon checking my food driving away we noticed only half the brisket was packed and after returning they added an additional portion of extremely thinly sliced brisket clearly portioned for sandwiches. please don't get me started on their sides, the mac and cheese is just boiled noodles with yellow food colouring and brisket beans can be found in a can in any grocery aisle. the great covid cleansing of restaurants can't come for this restaurant soon enough and whatever you do DO NOT TIP ON TAKEOUT

β β β β β Super cute atmosphere! I love when the sun goes down and they put out all the candles (especially gorgeous on a rainy night!)
The fried chicken is to die for and the corn bread rocked my world!

β β β β β Everything was so tasty, and cooked so well. It might have been because we lucked out going near the end of the night, but the portions were absolutely enormous! Sandwiches were loaded sky high, and everybody had a mountain of tots. Also, the night we were there the server was going through some Radiohead albums which was pretty awesome.

β β β β β What an experience this was. The machine gun Kelly looking waiter is something else. Couldnβt even guess at waiting times. Allowed dogs to sit at the table where people eat. Cleared some fellas food away while he was in the toilet. Failed to notify us that the main meal on the menu, the brisket, wasnβt available. Then 10 minutes later all of a sudden theyβve βfoundβ some brisketβ¦ where have you found this sir? After 5 minutes of deliberating he then admits itβs not fresh.. so out of the garbage is it? We then ask for the bill as we were clearly dissatisfied with the service. He then pestered us to pay and even made an out of taste dance and strange noise. All in all I doubt Iβll be giving this place anymore of my time nor money.

β β β β β Portions are solid, couldnβt finish my plate - brisket was amazing although apparently they only do it Saturdays. We got the server with the moustache and glasses, he was friendly, really on top of making sure we had water/were enjoying the meal, etc., in an appropriate non-pushy way ?? Poifect. Thanks!

We (as a group of three) tried a whole variety of things on the menu, and the fried chicken, corn bread and shrimp po boy were my personal faves, though the sides were all tasty. The flavours and spice profiles were balanced and all very "more-ish." The staff were fun and engaging as well. We'll be going back soon!

β β β β β Great presentation, and the staff was great unfortunately the ribs were obviously microwaved. There were cold in the center which was disappointing.
The chicken sandwich and sweet tea were good. My friends mac n cheese was pretty watered down. Overall I think with a little more attention to detail this place could be amazing but for now I feel they have a little ways to go.

β β β β β The food is out of this world good. One of the best BBQ I have ever had. Ribs are to die for, and Brisket was so on point. Shrimp PoBoy was so so good.
I did not order from them before because of some of these random 1 star reviews. I can guarantee those are either competitors or people with no taste.
Do yourself a favour and give it a shot, you wont be disappointed. I will be ordering weekly going forward.
