Our mattress is approximately 1yr old; one side has collapsed and the topper (3”) is leaning to the right. I’m 180 lbs, my wife much less. I sent photos to Sleep Country and my response I rec’d was this is normal and acceptable. Never again will I recommend or purchase from them. All is well before and during the sale but all is different when a problem arises.

Sales rep hovers the whole time you are in there pushing a sale. I had a bad experience at this store several years ago when they failed to deliver my mattress after they were given 6 weeks notice for delivery. When they realize their error they did nothing to try and make it right but made me drive to another store to pick up the mattress myself. I was hesitant to shop there again but figured it was a one off and wouldn't happen again. I went in and found the sales rep nice but again hovered. I decided on a mattress and was told delivery would be in a week which I was fine with. Well once again the time came and went when they were supposed to call for the delivery and they didn't call so I called to check on the status. Apparently "they're all booked up for weeks" so best they can do is in two weeks time. It would have been nice to know when I purchased the mattress as I would have went elsewhere rather than having to deal with sales reps that don't care because they already made the deal. I absolutely will never be shopping at this store again.

Bought pillow online and did not do its cooling job well. Tried for money back and was promised a voucher for the cost of the pillow. Voucher never came and sleep country ignores emails sent. Scammers.

Great experience buying 3 new mattresses. Robin was an amazing help today and guided us threw everything we needed and asked. I particularily liked the disposable sheets given to you so you could lie down on the beds. Amazing deals rolled in with Black Friday deals....I left happy for sure. Looking forward to a good night's sleep soon.

Raj is a great sales person. He helped us getting a firm mattress and also waited after shop hours to help us. The only factor I didn't like was that we don't get any sleep trials on a clearance mattress which is not his fault but company policy. We ended up finding the mattress a little firmer than our liking upon the first night of sleep. We weren't sure if we could get a clearance purchase replaced so upon looking for a replacement Raj was able to provide us with a clearance for clearance replacement with one degree softer after a 2 week wait. We ended up paying a little more but at least we don't have to deal with back pain. Recommend this place for mattresses as they give you a great warranty and replacement program. Don't make the mistake of getting a clearance piece like us, as I just realized that having a sleep trial is very very important. Never settle for a mattress without trial as the few minutes of in-shop trial doesn't mean anything unless you sleep for a night on that mattress. Sleep country should come up with a policy of at least 1 night sleep trial on clearance pieces if the regular ones have 90 day trials. Sounds like the least they can do. But thank you Raj!

They didn't have the pillows in that I purchased and they told me about 2 weeks for them to arrive. 2 weeks later still no pillow. So I asked for my money back and they couldn't even return it on to my credit card which I had used originally to make the purchase. I had to wait for a check in the mail. I overheard another sales rep in the store saying they don't know when they're getting them in. So they obviously lied to me just to make the sale.

MY NIGHTMARE WITH SLEEP COUNTRY CANADA Oct 18th Deliver of Kingsdown Duet Gage queen mattress and box spring. Box spring was damaged in 3 places yet they still delivered it. My wall was damaged as well. I contacted customer service within 2 hrs of delivery. Was told to forward pictures of the property damage. The pics have been submitted 3 TIMES and I'm being asked a 4th time to submit them. Within a week, the mattress was sagging. A WEEK! Contacted them at the 2 wk mark and was told they would exchange it. I was assured by Sleep Country that the mattress was faulty. WHY ARE SLEEP COUNTRY SELLING FAULTY MATTRESSES? Took another day off work to have the mattress and box spring delivered today and the DAMAGED ONES removed. No call between 8 and 9am this morning to let me know the 3 hr window for delivery. ( As per their policy). I was told my delivery would be a priority and several people requested a morning delivery if not first thing. I have now been informed the delivery will take place at almost 9pm tonight. Still no compensation for property damage and no mattress and box spring. I was also told I would be refunded my purchase price which did not happen either. I would have given zero stars but was unable to post without selecting at least one. BEWARE OF SLEEP COUNTRY. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
