About SL Dental Centre on 4th
Before serving as a general dentist in Calgary, I was honoured to practice in a variety of settings prior to moving to our wonderful city.
After earning my doctorate in 1994 from Northwestern Dental School in Chicago, I practiced there for six years as an associate before moving to Canada. In Whitehorse, I was fortunate to gain additional experience as a dentist serving the wide-ranging dental needs of the local population while having access to some of my favourite winter sports.
In 2005, I made Calgary home and opened my first dental practice, Killarney Dental. In 2012, I partnered with Dr. Shep Secter, at his Mission Dental practice, merging both successful practices into one, to create SL Dental Centre and am now proud to carry on the fine traditions of patient-centred care practised at both offices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best dentist and dental office I’ve been to. The staff is helpful, friendly and very prompt. I came to SL when my last dentist didn’t want to replace a crown because it was a back molar. He didn’t feel he could do it properly.
The procedure at SL was far less time consuming and uncomfortable than my past experience with this procedure. I walked out 2 hours later with a perfectly fitting crown that matched my teeth perfectly. No temporary, no lab, no return visit. Crowns are made in office from a scan- no impressions required.
Yesterday my hygienist Quinn is gentle and thorough and very pleasant.

My experience with Dr. Lee as a patient was excellent and professional, he explained the surgical dental procedures he would have to complete for the implants. The procedures took a number of months because my teeth were in bad shape. However with the care and help from the staff, I came through this with a brand new smile and lease on life. I want to thank Dr. Lee and all the staff for their professional care. I would recommend SL Dental Centre to my friends and family.

From the moment I walked in the office with the friendly staff, Jaimie and especially Dr Lee, the office is so well run.
Take my word ,you will love to come see your dentist now he is very kind, knowledgeable ( I think the best in the city).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am having major work done here - jaw bone rebuild, extraction(s), gum grafts and an anchor for a tooth implant. I have a bit more to go (the actual tooth implant) but thus far I am most pleased, not only with the current results but with the education, procedures, professional care throughout and the 'above and beyond' the 'necessary' shown to me at every step of the way. I highly recommend Dr Lee and his staff!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was terrified of the dentist - had not been in to see one in over 10 years. Just the thought of calling one to make an appointment gave me anxiety. I filled out the online survey, but did not complete it. Jamie called me a few days later to inquire (I almost didn't answer the call) But she convinced me to just come and have a consult. Best decision I made! I have a lot of work to be completed but Dr. Lee and his amazing Team - Jamie, Jackie and Kelly are absolutely one of a kind. They made me feel comfortable and not judged for the work they will have to do. So much so that I followed through with each appointment and will continue to do so. Am I still anxious when I know I need to go - of course. But that feeling slowly goes away with each one. Thank you SL Dental for giving me back the start to my smile!!
