I gave a 5 star rating on the construction and Reno instructor Rick is very well knowledgeable in the field. He knows allot on demolition and to framing a house plus interior layout we touch base on plumbing and electrical so you know how it done in the field of building homes. A great college to learn the trade.

I give this program 5* and to my instructor Rick for Home Renovations.Β  I came here knowing nothing and thanks to the hands on experience they provide, I was able to understand in class theory. I recommend Home RenovationsΒ  to anyone who wants to get into this trade because they also cover plumbing and electrical. I also love how they don't pack us with homework, assignments and test, instead they teach us proper hands on tricks and tips.

As we wrap up our course I am so thankful for being accepted into this school as a coop student. This is a great learning opportunity for anyone at any stage in life from just out of high school making their way into the trades or even as an adult simply wanting to do their own renovations on their house. I couldn’t imagine a better way to spend my time learning everything there is to know about a home build and our teacher Rick was awesome. He was able to keep us moving at a good speed so we had plenty of time to do other side projects on the house we wanted to learn as well as sat through and fully explained any questions we had. Would 100% recommend this course.

STC was an amazing school that I couldn't recommend enough. Mike was a great teacher, along with all of the staff at the school. You will learn everything from how to read a blueprint to installing water heaters and installing full plumbing systems. Very hands on course that will always keep you on your toes and test your knowledge. Amazing school and if plumbing or electrical is what you want to get into, I couldn't recommend this school enough

Mario was not only a great electrical instructor, he is a great teacher. It was honestly a pleasure to learn in his classroom. I have gained promising employment shortly after graduating the program. Thank you Skilled Trades College of Canada.

As of writing this review I am 2 days from graduation so I can give my full opinion of this course. If you take only one thing away from this review it's the instructor for the electrical course Mario. I can say without a doubt that Mario has been the best teacher I have ever had the pleasure of having. He is passionate, caring, consistent and truly knows what he is doing. Having someone like Mario as an instructor is the best thing you could hope for as a student. Not only can he teach the subject matter but he is able to understand it to such a remarkable degree that he is able to simplify it down enough that it is extremely easy to understand but not too simple that it becomes redundant. Mario also brings up topics that are related to the course matter as a reference point to keep things grounded and relatable. This is a very fast-paced course that covers a lot but if you try you can easily succeed with an instructor like Mario. I came into the course anxious due to my lack of knowledge in the trade but after 3 months I feel very confident in my abilities. This course to me was definitely worth it in my opinion. I will use the skills and knowledge I have gained for the rest of my life. Although a brief time, I will always remember how amazing of an instructor and teacher Mario is and I am truly thankful in many ways to have been taught by him.

The reason I gave this school a five star rating was because of Mario. He was the instructor I had for the electrical pre-apprenticeship program. Mario is a fantastic instructor in the short time you will spend here he will teach you as much information as he can without making it boring to sit though. He really looks out for all his students to make sure everyone will be successful. I honestly can't say anything bad about his teaching, he made coming in everyday worth your time. I am updating this review becuase I have bin working at this great company and becuase of everything I have Mario has taught me I have really excelled in the field.
