★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the siding, eaves, soffit, and downspouts replaced on my home by a contractor that uses Gentex product. The house and product looks great but when I call Gentek customer service to inquire about purchasing additional downspout pieces to re-locate and color match my downspout, they had no interest in helping with their own product. Their answer was a simple no....we dont carry that. I asked about where I could go to find the pieces that I needed, and that's where their interest in my problem stopped. I guess once the product is paid for and installed on your house....customer service stops.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No one gets nastier than the woman at the front desk. She hates the world and Has no problem taking it out on the customers. Completely unprofessional. Her coworker apologized for her rude behaviour several times. Rona had even warmed me about this place and their customer service.
While I was waiting for my order another customer said to me , “ this is the worst place to come if you need siding”.
I would rethink your options - they do not value their customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When purchasing exterior building materials this place has everything you need, with a great staff to help. Everyone from the girls at the front desk, to the shipping & receiving staff & drivers.
They all have great knowledge in the products they sell & go a step above with there customer service. I have used other branches ( Kitchener, Scarborough, Etobicoke) but by far some of the best service is at the Barrie branch.
